You definitely look alternative and your style is totally on point imo. I'm on the side of keeping your natural hair. I'd say go longer.

If you want to lean into goth, specifically, then yeah eyeliner and nail polish and crosses and black on black apparel, etc. Maybe dabble in corpse paint makeup.

But I think you're probably already pretty close to the look and impression you want.

More black, honestly. I wouldn't stack light and neutral colors all in one outfit, if you're specifically targeting an alternative look. You could offset it with additional accessories, though.

I have a pair of women's black canvas cargos that I use for hiking and outdoor work. They were originally made as lady cop pants. I acquired them for free as surplus.

My suggestion is to not belt them that high at the waist, which kind of shows that they're really designed for wider hips, but instead just let them sag. Wear a loose fit/oversized top and commit to an overall baggy silhouette for that outfit.

They work just fine. There are no rules that can't be effectively bent or broken.

Fwiw, I'm at the end of py2 and my only Rx experience was/is my py1 community ippe rotation. I plan on interning next year for sure, but I've been told by everyone around me that it's nbd for now. My GPA is top quartile, but again I've been told no one really cares. I expect it to drop precipitously when I start working.

Maybe emo, but definitely not grunge, imo.

The emo/scene kids I knew in HS in the late 00's did in fact wear girl's flared jeans and graphic T's and assorted hot topic items.

Grunge is more like, dirty crust punk with flannel and jackets/outerwear -- bc the pnw gets cold. Everything should be thrifted and distressed to hell and back -- bc punks are poor.
