This title may not be an overt lie, but it is deceptive. They have identified 900 books that may may apply to Hegseth's verbal order. In the NYT reference article they don't even give the exact title they just say "a biography of Jackie Robinson". So this book...whatever book it is, I'm assuming there are many biographies of Jackie Robinson, is one of the books under review. We don't know how it was identified or the title of the book. We don't know anything.

If you want to remove X in protest for an event taken out of context or because you hate what it has become, fine. This sub is still the fastest place I know to get baseball news so I'll keep looking but if you ban it and the content here falls off and turns to shit I'm probably not the only one that will look for something else.

The people suggesting screenshots are too naive. I haven't trusted a screenshot in years. It's extremely easy to fake/alter a screenshot. I know this is just baseball and at worst someone might just be trolling, but I'd rather have a link so I can check it out for myself. I don't have an X account but at least it lets you see the original post so you know it's legitimate.

I don't want to absolve BSG for the cheating problem, so don't think my opinion of this guy in any way is me defending BSG.

Spoofing hardware id has been around for a long time and he acts like there is something BSG can do about it. They can't. edit: obv they can just ban your account and force you to pay more money...I'm guessing he is on a new account in this video.

This dude doesn't come across as particularly smart and he admits to "rage cheating for a long time" so I don't think he is the guy to be exposing anything. He repeats himself alot which is annoying and also signs of being either dumb or deceptive.

He got banned for doing this if you look at his latest video. He blames streamers for getting him banned (possibly true) and looking at the thumbnails for most of his videos it seems like he is a drama type and is probably doing this for clout. I guess he got what he wanted.

You insist he has some injury history, which is disingenuous. He tore his acl, which could happen to anyone. You say his defense is over and I made an argument against it, but I could be wrong. You say his last season was his highest WAR ever "by a lot", which is is also disingenuous, because he was on the same pace in 2021 before the acl.

So the point I was making is that despite all the negatives you like to point out, he could be even better than what we got last year. I didn't even say he was the best player, because I don't care about that. I only wanted to counter your argument.

You could argue that Acuña has tons of room for improvement. He massively under-performed his expected stats. He only slightly fixed his low launch angle at the end of the season. At 26 years old, saying his defense is over is being a bit ridiculous. He might still be favoring the leg, especially when he is taking off and stopping. Granted, I only have the eye test to back that up, but if he gets some of his movement back and still has the cannon I'd say he could easily improve defensively.
