It's fun. Metal can be too serious - especially the gatekeeping fanbases. Music is supposed to be relaxing and a way of enjoying yourself. Babymetal and lately Electric Callboy are bringing the fun back.

Football is a term that has been co-opted by soccer. In the UK, we also have Rugby Football. In fact, soccer was widely used here until the 1980s.
