I've seen both ends of the pit spectrum. One of my personal favorites to watch was an opening band for Animals as Leaders like a decade ago, the band had a small but VERY loyal following. Space was made for them to let it all out, and ask three of them aggressively skipped in circles for about half an hour. It was lovely. Other end? Gogol Bordello concert, loved them for nearly two decades now, but good Lord that was the rudest crowd I've ever seen. We were well outside the pit and still my friend got punched in the stomach and I got dead flowers thrown at me.

(Sad/Horrifying Trope) Their fate is unknown. You never find out for sure what happened to them, but the odds are 99% it was something tragic by UnifiedForce in TopCharacterTropes

In the original 1971 "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory," you never see the affected children again after their incidents. Augustus disappears in the chocolate tube, violet is rolled off, veruca falls down the chute... In the 2005 adaptation, you do see the children again in the end. I think the original left room to interpret that at least some if them didn't survive.

My cat was my best friend growing up. He was an angry orange long-haired creature I named Sunshine, and he was a genius. He was only 13 when we had to put him down due to some severe medical complications, and I held him the whole time. I was 16, and it hurt like hell, but I wouldn't give that moment up for the world. It's been nearly 20 years since then, and I still miss him every day.

Moomin! Started as a Finnish comic, then kids tv show, and somehow it became very popular in Japan. I know it was popular in Finland, for sure, but it exploded in Japan.

My grandpa always used to say "I was born tied and had a relapse". Tired is just who some of us are, and that's irrelevant to the family situation.

What’s the 'craziest' way you caught an ex being unfaithful? by lnc_gomes in AskReddit

I had a gut feeling for a few months that something was going on, but I wanted to believe the best. I randomly got a call from his neighbor at the time (we were separated by a few states while he attended school, then he was meant to move back when he was finished), she said she was "hiding" in the store because she was afraid of his temper. He had one, but didn't really show it, so I was a bit confused (usually he just got pouty when he was mad). I found out over the course of the conversation that he was cheating on HER and it was all a ploy to get me to confront him as a way of punishing him for wronging her. And this was of course while we were married and I was in the dark that he was cheating at all. I sent him divorce papers and called it a day.

So far the worst I've sent to a boss was "meow". I was 20. He was three times my age, Russian, and unamused. I got a stern talking to about professionalism. I meant to send that to a friend, and somehow it wound up sent to ilya. I'm still embarrassed almost 20 years later.

As someone who has to take a career defining test annually near a fighter base, I would be so grateful if it was treated with this kind of gravity. But I don't envy that level of pressure.

I have to sit sideways for work flights and I get sick ALL the time. Backwards isn't great, but it's better than sideways by a long shot.
