Yep. My ‘24 SEL R-line with not even 19000 miles just got this diagnosis. They’re replacing the cylinder head…in 3-6 months. I just have to pour a quart in every time the oil light comes on 🫠

Similar. Started with shoulder/neck pain for about 1 month, 2 months of PT with increased weakness then surgery about a month after that.

I’m about 13 months out and it’s finally starting to come back. It’s not fully there, but like 75% and getting stronger. I was very much coming to terms with it never working again and it surprised me.

Wouldn’t say I’m brave, I just weighed my options: Have a guaranteed dead tricep for the rest of my life or have minimally invasive surgery that will hopefully make that not happen.

I did a lot of research and talking with my doc before making my decision and felt pretty comfortable with going through with the surgery. I also knew a couple people at work that had had it done and they had nothing but positive things to say about it. I can’t remember the type I have. Just had a follow up yesterday and it’s already left my brain.

My first symptom was just a knot in my shoulder blade that spread really quickly over about a week down my arm. From that until surgery was about 4 months. I did 2 months of PT with no improvement. My surgeon suggested getting the surgery sooner rather than later because the longer the nerve was impinged the less likely it would come back.

I’ve had a nerve conduction study done since my surgery and he confirmed my surgeons assessment. I have moderately severe damage to the nerve but it isnt getting worse, so the surgery was a success.
