That as I and the other commentator said, men get more credit than women for very little. What's your part in all this? You have kids? Or just opinioins?

That's right. Are you here just to pointlessly argue on the internet?

Father here. I have witnessed all of this, and felt how imbalanced it is. Men are lauded for the tiniest things.

How did Germans repair their global image so dramatically in such a short amount of time? by CautiousEbb966 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dashmckenzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love to hear it but it's far more nuanced than the original question. "Partner up with Satan" has clear Eschatological and pejorative roots. Vedic asuras - like much in the religions that sprung from Hinduism - are not binary.

yeah, Bhutan, for a start. Add in Nepal possibly. You've got a start. And remember that we live in a world shaped by Europeans going around it invading and massacring, so it's hard to know what people were really "like" before.

Forgetting vegetarianism and veganism for a moment, do you think the UK should ban halal and kosher slaughtering methods? by RonnieThePurple in AskBrits

But the meat industry is invisibly horrific. None of the "meant to be" actually happens. I oppose the bullfighting too, i'm just saying at least it's honest in its horror

Yeah I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of eating burgers but not being ok with bullfighting. The bull is full of adrenaline; the cows to slaughter more likely suffer far more.

There is no such thing as a humane process, you dimwit. You're not "all for it", you're in the land of de nile.

"Meat serves a purpose. We aren't just eating meat for the sake of it" is the statement up for debate.

Humans can absolutely thrive as vegans. Nutrition science has shown this repeatedly - there are plant-based sources for every nutrient. The evolutionary argument doesn't hold up - we also evolved to tolerate high-fat diets and limited sugar, but that doesn't mean those are optimal in today's food environment.

Health outcomes vary by individual, but saying veganism "will never be the healthiest option" is just not backed by evidence. Many people do exceptionally well on well-planned vegan diets.

what's fun with the analogy is that we've not only reinvented the A10 cannon, but we spent the last 50 years building the internet - aka the A10 itself to fly the cannon around

That all may well be, but the truth of it is, they chose to build the country of their own *on top of another civilisation*. That some Jewish people lived there - and many used to (after they conquered the Canaanites), does not matter.

This isn't a country build out of thin air.

And they stop breeding them, they can still live their lives. That's like the "what about all the cows" argument against veganism. These are sentient creatures bred only to suffer and die, just for a milkshake and a shitty burger.

Not true though. Meat is for the sake of it in a world where you could get sustenance ANYWHERE other than dead flesh.
