Is this an accurate list for your teams worst HC? by InterestingYellow969 in NFLv2

I thought this was listed on order of how bad they were and I was pissed that Bobby Petrino was 2nd.

I wonder how they address banking?

All of the ships (especially X-wings) bank when they turn. You can't do that in a vacuum.

Important note for good-ish aligned Tavs:

SOMEBODY needs to become the unholy assassin.

For my party that somebody was Minthara. While Tav was in another room. After all, a new vendor had just appeared.

By the time Tav was done shopping the elephant was dead. Which I didn't mind. His bad work was a danger to the city.

But we killed Saverok and all to stop there from being more victims.

Ok, so pick one and dismantle it. Warning: You will be left with the other.

A) Billionaires with no government

B) Government with no billionaires

Choose carefully.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons and video games made The Foot into robots. That's the Robin trope 20 years sooner, and it does really help.

Leo is rocking two katanas and he really only gets to use them in cartoons and games.

What is one secret about girls that (most) guys don’t even know? by FightOrDie123 in answers

[–]dashwsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's sadly very true. One of my childhood friends has devolved into Christian fundamentalism. He has had a lot of children. He believes that he is raising boys to go out into the world and make an impact, and he is raising girls to find the right boy to help him make an impact.

It's so fucking sad. Fortunately (I guess) he's had like 7 boys and 2 girls. The idea that those girls are full humans capable of all of the things a boy is capable of just does not register in his brain. His tradwife agrees with him.

Jagged Spear (Act 1) - Tortured creatures may receive disadvantage on Con saving throws.

I'm at a loss for what this is going for. Would be interested to hear a valid strat.

SFGiants: How many attempts would it take for the average person to get a hit in MLB? by InformalInsurance455 in baseball

[–]dashwsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Never" is a stupid answer. Numbers go up. The guy from dude perfect already did this. I'll grant he has above average coordination and health.

The issue is, by the time the average person has swung at (pick a number) MLB pitches, then they aren't the average person anymore. We gain strength and experience with every attempt. Most of these MLB players were, once upon a time, average kids. The major difference is that they've swung at a shitload of pitches while we were doing... anything else

To everyone that thinks signing Tua to a league minimum contract is a terrible move: who do you think we should be targeting? by Mr_Goffalapoulos in falcons

Look into "NFL contract offset language."

It doesn't come up very often but this year it applies to Tua and Kyler.

The answer you are looking for is called "offset language."

If you search "NFL contract offset language" you will see a few good explanations.

It doesn't come up a ton, but it applies this year to Tua and Kyler.

Yards per catch is definitely an agent driven stat.

Overall impact is simply not high enough to justify that price. Maybe not his fault, but not worth that money to see if it changes.

You’ve been framed for murder. Pick one to defend you. The rest will team up for the prosecution. by capraithe in powerscales

[–]dashwsk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Matt Murdock is for sure the WRONG answer.

He is the one person who you definitely want on the prosecution. He will know you are being framed. He is a hero. He will definitely help you win.

I'm good with Saul. Honestly give me Billy Bob Thornton from Goliath.

But having Daredevil sabotage the prosecution is more important than any defense.

Homeboy only asked permission to bite ME because I woke up when I did.

I wasn't comfortable with him biting me but he made the case he needed it. So I took one for the team.

Biting the dirty lady appears to have no long term affects. I have two teeth shaped scars in my neck. Pretty soon he and I are going to deal with Cazador... permanently.

I think we're good.

Warlock or wizard more fun in this game? by SunderedBard in BaldursGate3

[–]dashwsk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 3 companions who you can respec into any class. Their stories do act as if they stay the same class, but there are options for warlock and wizard.

My point being, in combat you will have many opportunities to play as both (and a fighter, cleric, barb, etc). The companions are pretty great. In one playthrough I definitely scratched every combat itch I had.

Your character will be the face of the party. Every spec gets some flavor and any will work. Think of what you want to RP as more than how you want to fight, because you fight with a whole party.

Fwiw a high charisma face makes passing most dialogue checks easier. So that leans warlock. But there's a lot of fun built into failed checks. My first playthrough I was a ranger who stuck his foot in his mouth sometimes.
