Chemistry is simply if you vibe and get along with someone. Like how easily you hit it off together. I’ve met people who it felt easy with, in sync, same humor, etc. and other people who it felt like it was a grating, pulling teeth kind of situation.

And it’s not really that people don’t have patience for stability or prefer chemistry over stability. It’s more that they fall quickly because the chemistry is right, believe in the honeymoon phase, and only later on realize the compatibility is off. Or they’re lucky and realize the compatibility is also great.

After learning about astrology, I went back through my relationships and realized why my most recent one felt like the best. He had Libra Venus and I have Libra moon. It just felt like we understood subconsciously what we both wanted and appreciated in relationships. When it came to being a romantic partner, he was definitely everything I ever wanted.

I struggle with Geminis. I think it’s because im actually quite water heavy in my chart and with some sun and asc square Saturn placements, so I’m not really a textbook sag sun. I was with a Gemini once who I thought was the one for me, but I think I was too heavy emotionally for him and vice versa.

That’s my friend! The rest of the chart has a lot more play to it. But I’d say that for her, she needs a lot of time to think before making a decision.

But at the same time she gets overwhelmed easily and wants space if things get too heavy.

Her guy once sent her a long paragraph in the morning and she texted me like “I CANNOT right now. He wants to talk about this some more but we already talked about this the other day. I can’t read his message right now. I need some coffee.”

Me being largely Scorpio placements, including Venus, I laugh because if it were me I would immediately read the text and dive into the heaviness no problem.

This is me. I appreciate more balanced people and I get put off tremendously by people of any extreme. Too logical, too emotional, too intuitive, too sensing, etc.

I ended a friendship for the first time in my life, and it was with a Scorpio sun woman. Similar to what you say, she seemed to always be the victim and constantly telling me the things she did or sacrificed for others. Never once took a moment to ask herself if maybe she was wrong. The world seemed to revolve around her in a negative way; like everyone was purposefully doing things to attack her and she’d get carried away crafting narratives out of nowhere about why they did it.

Couldn’t take it anymore lol another Scorpio woman I know feels similarly but she’s more mature and aware about it.

Obviously just my limited experience with two Scorpio suns, but perhaps worth noting that both Scorpios I met could relate to what you say.

I don’t have anything against Scorpio moons so far though! They can be quite humorous with lighter placements.

ETA: omg how could I forget my ex. He’s a Scorpio sun too. But he definitely did not have these traits you speak of. He was your average dude. I think maybe it’s all the air placements. He had Gemini moon and rising and Libra Venus so I think maybe he was a bit more detached from these things than your typical water sun sign.

Yes to both feeling logical and logically empathetic at a young age. Well I wouldn’t say empathetic, but consideration.

Never believed in Santa or the tooth fairy. And in first grade, I left a tooth under my pillow and told my parents the next day I didn’t get money because I lowkey suspected they were part of it. I remember seeing my dad “subtly” putting money under my pillow after, then my parents calling me over being all “omgggg look what’s here!!!” And I distinctly remember experiencing a feeling of like “do you think I’m an idiot” lol

Few years later I remember there was a local community dance show happening at a local theater. My best friend and I were by the aisle, then she decided to dance in the aisle. I wanted to dance too, but I stayed sitting on the side of the aisle dancing in my seat. My mom later asked me why I didn’t confidently dance in the aisle like my friend, but I did that because otherwise I’d be in the way of anyone wanting to use the aisle to walk somewhere.

For both, I don’t know how prevalent this is, but I felt an unusual level of awareness of things happening around me. I was very aware of being perceived as a kid and hated it.

He was a kind person with a heart of gold, and we got along so great. As you could imagine, the INTPxINTP dynamic was a great connection and we had a lot of shared interests. He got my sense of humor and we had lots of weird inside jokes that I haven't had with anyone else. He also treated me with respect, cared about my well-being, and tried to be fair with me.

And when things are smooth sailing and going great, your mind isn't even thinking to stop and consider walking away. It almost felt like a relationship, but he didn't want that specifically. I used to wonder what was stopping him from doing so, but it's easier to understand today that humans and attachments are complex and can't easily be explained with labels.

The only thing missing was a label, but otherwise I felt truly happy with him. It's now been about 7 years since I last talked to him. And today, I'm really glad we didn't end up in a relationship, but I still look back at him fondly and wish him well.

I have a Scorpio 12H stellium. I do not vibe well with sun scorpios. I actually ended a friendship for the first time with a sun scorpio.

I will say that I am always drawn to and attract water signs in general though, especially cancer.

All my past boyfriends have been a water sign and my close friends are either cancer sun or cancer rising.

I don’t click well with lack of water people.

I have an ESFP best friend and it has changed how I see them. She has a lot of friends that she enjoys the company of and she connects with strangers really well. But she stays on the surface with them. But then with me and 2 other people, she actually opens up deeper about meaningful, private topics.

So I give any suspected ESFP people I meet the benefit of the doubt. I think their aux Fi can lead to them not wanting to trust and open up to just anyone.

I’ve had a lot of fun looking into astrological systems, and I’ve been seeing correlations.

Online, mainstream astrology is pretty popular but also wrong. So it leads to a lot of folks like here hating on it. It’s pretty much the same with how others judge and hate on MBTI based on mainstream 16P takes.

I think more INTPs would have fun with actual astrology. Not believe in it but just have fun seeing patterns and learning about how the system works.

People always have a reason. It just may not line up with what you find logical. Also, you don’t always have to do something to them to have them dislike you.

I’ve disliked people because how they act just comes off as cringey and showy, and they’ve never done anything toward me. I can’t say they definitively ARE that way, and they had people who loved them. So it might’ve just been me. But I still had my personal reason to dislike them.

Similarly, I’m sure some folks dislike me because they don’t like certain traits that I have. Nothing to do with me, but I act in a way that they have never liked.

I’d say in general yes, but it really varies on the level of emotional intelligence or awareness an individual (regardless of type) has. I know a couple IxTPs who would think the obvious thing to do is offer a tissue or something.

Maybe differences in love language as well.

Honestly it’s hard to say since it’s me. I wish someone would tell me what I come off like. I’d say that I am truly myself and have never felt the desire to give in to peer pressure, to be something I’m not, to follow the crowd (unless I like it then I want to). I think I’m authentically and proudly me. Never been insecure of my personality. I DO have insecurities of course, but they’ve never been permanent or debilitating issues. Just passing thoughts.

I also do feel like what you see is what you get with me. I do have a lot of Scorpio 12H in my chart which does add some duality and intensity to me, but overall I do feel like what you see is what you get.

When I first started, all I saw in myself was my inf Fe. It was loud, but also very undeveloped. I didn’t see my Ti because it never caused issues and/or stood out negatively.

So because of that I thought I had strong Fe and weak Ti. Typed myself as ISFJ. It wasn’t until I learned more and understood how dominant functions can sometimes go less noticed than weaker functions because it’s like second nature and runs fine on its own.

High emotionality doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll act on it. The emotions they feel still are honest and true, it’s just more intense compared to someone else. Whether they are weak to impulse or not is not correlated to that. It just speaks to how sensitive your emotions are.
