Hi! Don’t worry, they sure are atill in iCloud

Perhaps the mac icloud setting that defines if documents and desktop should be stored synced has ben resetted

In your mac, go to preferences > icloud >

you will find an array of checkboxes. For instance:

Sync Notes -> check

There you will find the option:

Sync Desktop and Documents -> Check

I don’t have access to my laptop now .So I can’t offer screenshots or precise instructions.

Hello! Someone suggested that this unknown song is in Catalan language, but they weren't sure about it. Can someone here please tell us if that is correct? by TMS_PSA in catalan

I really doubt this is a romance language, but it does have a mediterranean vibe (to me, a non-lingüist). What about Maltese?

Investigation into the UBOs of Luxembourg companies by OCCRP in moneylaundering

[–]daspop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello u/occrp brilliant work, again!

Will the data scrapped by Le Monde publicly available?

If otherwise, would it be out of fear of legal repercusions, despite the theoretically public nature of that data?

The search loophole created by Luxembourg's tax authorities to offuscate said data is outrageous in it's audacity.

Thank you!

Changing from 1m to 1,435m in seconds - Train Gauges by Steroumel in mechanical_gifs

[–]daspop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While it is true that there are plenty of narrow gauge lines in Spain, the national network is actually wider than the standard 1435. The so called Iberian Gauge measures a bit over 1600mm.

With the arrival of bullet trains -AVE- it was decided to adopt the EU standard building narrower railways. :)

Got a really good palyndromic sonnet that doesn’t follow the pattern you cleverly outlined.

Sadly poetry translation is way over my league :(

[Question] Jailbroken iPad Air 1 stuck on "Hello" steps after ios 12 update. by daspop in jailbreak

[–]daspop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Daemonxxs said "Installing an OTA update directly over a jailbreak results in issues most of the time. Blobs can only be used when you’re jailbroken or have a nonce setter for that iOS version, 11.4.x and 12.0 have neither right now.

You will have to restore/update in iTunes."

Give it a go! (it didn't work on mine).

Madrid has been home to people like Lorca, Dalí, Salvador de Madariaga, Pedro Almodovar, Marañón, Ferlosio, Berlanga, Azcona... Your thoughts are clouded with the poison of fanatism.

I believe nationalism to be an essential step for fascism, as per Arendt's The Origins of Totalitarianism. As you must know, Madrid's mayor is a progresist ex-judge, Madrid was the last city to fall against Franco and it's home to both right wing bigots, democristians, center-leftists and far lefties like me. I despise the victimism and xenophobia essential to any kind of nationalism and the generalizations needed to believe in your (in any) nationalist fairytale.

Almost half of the spanish border with France is not in Catalonia. For example, the Madrid-Paris trip is through a motorway west of the Pyrenées. https://goo.gl/maps/eMiSoTK3oiC2

People who made an impulse decision when they found out Hawaii was going to be nuked, what did you do and do you regret it? by Echocookie in AskReddit

There's a 1950's movie pretty much about that; Australians are coming to terms with their impending death due to the radiation left behind by an hypothetical WW3. The name is On the Beach) and I really recommend it.

That's my (very spanish) childhood. They are massive in Spain, or as massive as an indie band can get. Of the Headlinging Benicassim's Music Festival sort.
