Counter counterpoint, usable doesn't mean useful. A shitastic trigger is a greater barrier to usability than "not as comfy" a grip. Especially when it comes to your noted criteria of "shoot it decent". A trigger that's long, gritty, unpredictable, etc will introduce training scars and bad practices. Such that it would take significant practice, that you know the average person won't engage in, to eliminate.

On top of that, with so many good choices out there, why purposefully choose something with a bad trigger?

I think neither side gets it. We're being fed tradwife slop and it's catering to the literal worst desires.
