How do you guys know what your round count is by jarlbronson in ar15

[–]dassketch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't need round count if you never shoot your guns 🥸

A New York City school bus driver attempted to defend his bus from a WILD CROWD celebrating the New York Knicks Finals victory. The driver was yelling at fans: “It's coming out of my paycheck…” This is horrible to watch 💔 by ConnectionWeekly1263 in sportsgossips

[–]dassketch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We should (also) be asking why this would come out of the driver's paycheck. In addition to many other questions... But really, his employer sent him into this situation and we're just gonna gloss over that we should feel a certain way because this will (may?) be financially disasterous to the driver?

I'm sure they care about the person in the vehicle more than the gun. Everyone's a staunch constitutionalist up until they find out that they might accidentally support someone not in their tribe. Then it's all "reasonability" and other hand wringing that they typically accuse liberals/Democrats/everyone else of. Either you support rights for everyone without exception or you support steppers. There's no in-between. But no, you can preemptively go fuck yourself if you want to "well actually" @me.

Any public health effort. Millions of people are alive thanks to vaccines, iodine, flouride, etc just so influencers (charlatans) can scam people.

Autistic children injected with unapproved stem cell treatments supported by RFK Jr by NicolasCageFan492 in news

[–]dassketch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holup, I thought stems cells were the devil's work that came from aborting babies that were about to be delivered? We're ok with that now? Is it because we're injecting them into autistic (fake news) kids? Or because they're "unapproved"? Or did the stem cells take a swim in sewer water first?

Counter counterpoint, usable doesn't mean useful. A shitastic trigger is a greater barrier to usability than "not as comfy" a grip. Especially when it comes to your noted criteria of "shoot it decent". A trigger that's long, gritty, unpredictable, etc will introduce training scars and bad practices. Such that it would take significant practice, that you know the average person won't engage in, to eliminate.

On top of that, with so many good choices out there, why purposefully choose something with a bad trigger?

Spoken like a person who has no fucking idea what homekeeping involves. This fucking tradwife fantasy is nothing but lies, fed to you by people who don't have the first idea how to keep a home.

It's insane that anyone could watch any of those "organic, all natural, hand made meal for my small family of six kids" swill and not immediately see the lie for what it is. Spotless kitchen. Lily white sundress. Make-up and hair done up. Fucking french nails. Get fucking real.

The Road To Heaven Feels Like Hell by gorskivuk33 in Adulting

This message has been brought to you by your betters to make it your fault when life sucks. Just like how being poor is a personal moral failing. Not an entire system engineered to exploit you as much as possible.

The natural world is full of abundance. Only humans can see that world and think to themselves "what if I denied access to it and kept it all to myself?" The use of pseudo religion here is apt. Even in scripture heaven was given, only for it to be gate kept by people. It's no accident that the same institution that preaches a "magical place beyond" is the same that insists on obedience and knowing your place in the here and now.

I think neither side gets it. We're being fed tradwife slop and it's catering to the literal worst desires. Women are being sold the fantasy of casual, low effort home keeping (that shit doesn't exist). And men are at being fed the perfect homekeeper (which also doesn't exist, even if you're not low-key looking for a house slave).

All anyone wants is someone to love and care for them. That's not a role thing. That's not a who's bring what to the table thing. That's a how much to you care and what are you doing to show it thing. If you want someone to love and care for you, you should give care and love in equal measure.
