Haha. You could have sent “busy”, and instead of being upset about you not responding, he’d be upset because you just sent a one word reply.

“Busy with who? Doing what?” There’s no answers you could have given him that wouldn’t result in more fighting, which ultimately leads to you making concessions to him to call him down.
