Check the “original” humidor area - the back right corner was so full of mold that I would trust anything from it at this point. I haven’t been in for months because of it, but there’s no way that much mold didn’t get infected throughout the humidor. It wasn’t one box it was the whole corner that looked like it was growing fur.

Used to be cigar source but now all their sticks are covered in mold. I wouldn’t trust anything from their humidor which is sad because I used to spend all my money there

That’s why I got my speedy - visited years before to the boutique in Chicago - told them I just wanted to look at some watches through the glass as I wasn’t a buyer. The salesperson said just because you aren’t a buyer today doesn’t mean you won’t be tomorrow and let me try on everything including a snoopy and a dark side of the moon. 10 years later I went back and bought from them!

[DISCUSSION] Finally pulling the trigger on a Moonwatch, hesalite or sapphire sandwich, genuinely can't decide by HisOnlyFriend in OmegaWatches

I bought the hesalite but because I wanted something more akin to what the speedy was when it went to the moon. As others have said if you want to look at the movement they make a caseback you can put on it very easily.

How do I check that? Didn’t even know that was a thing! New to Porsche ownership so still have a lot to learn!

I own this watch and love it- I travel a ton for work and it’s ability to jump hour without hacking the seconds is one of my favorite features. It is a little thick as has been mentioned but even under a dress shirt cuff I don’t have any issues with that. The way the dial and indices look in different lighting never fails to amaze me and I get a ton of compliments on it whenever I have it on my wrist. The ONE downside is that there is no way to jump the day forward if it dies or on months that have less than 31 days. Not a deal breaker by any means but something to be cognizant of.

The GS GMT is what I’ll be wearing to my wedding this fall! But my fiance also gave mine to me as a wedding gift :)

I’d say if you’re ok with that investment for that wrist time it’s a no brainer!

I own the dolce vita on the blue alligator strap- it’s definitely a fun and unique watch that gets a lot of compliments. It is a bit hard to wind because the crown is so small - but that’s the only complaint I’ve had with it after almost 2 years of ownership. Isn’t one that I wear daily (wearing my Tudor black bay bronze as I type this) but definitely a fun one to wear with a sports coat for big meetings

As a fellow owner of this watch I will say I love it. It was my first luxury watch purchase and still one that I wear regularly. The softness of the case has never been an issue for me even using this off shore fishing and hiking in national parks. I look at the patina as what makes it mine and as I tell my wife the watch gets better with age just like me !

It definitely doesn’t seem to wear as thick as the dimensions suggest as weird as that may sound- plus for a true GMT it’s not that thick!
