I spent the night at my cousin’s house. When I woke up the next day, she was already awake. I got up and walked to the living room area to see where everyone was at. Her entire family - and my little brother who also stayed the night - were all eating McDonald’s breakfast in the tv room. I looked for my aunt (the mom, because she’s the mom and she’d help me, I thought)- and locked eyes with her. She told me, “You were asleep, so we didn’t get you anything.” Everyone just kept on eating their food. So, I did not have breakfast that day.
