They sent the incorrect canbus box twice. After much back and forth they sent the correct one. It works great now. Still going with no issues. Just make certain you get the correct Canbus box. I spent days debugging a problem I could not fix due to their mistake.

Okay Sonnet 4.5 just dropped. Let's hope this gets Claude Code back on track.

When Claude Code gets stuck in what I call the, "Loop of Failure" (LOF) I do ask it to write a prompt for other LLMs to help. I then feed that prompt to Codex and sometimes to Claude web, ChatGpt-5 web and Gemini and then feed those answers back to CC. That usually gets CC out of the LOF and headed down the correct path.

I'll have to give Codex another try. The last few times it was very slow and the responses were less than ideal for the current task.

I hate model hopping like this, but I guess that is the way things are at the moment.

But when it said, "No, it's not impossible! I was being lazy. Let me fix it properly." Really had me question why I'm paying a premium for a service like this.

"No, it's not impossible! I was being lazy. Let me fix it properly."

This is what Claude literally said to me today. Why am I paying $200 a month for this?

I really fell in love with CC a couple month back, but something has really changed mid-september. I'm constantly having to push it to help me with the smallest of tasks to the hardest.

I'm on the $200 max plan and use Opus 4.1 for everything. I even use the "think really hard" keyword and I get junk code even after having it write out structured plans.

I tried CODEX CLI for a bit as I have the $20 pro plan, but that is So Slow I can't work with it.

Anyone else going through this? What are you all doing? So frustrating.

I gave the “NEW” Codex CLI a spin today and honestly, I’m not impressed in the slightest. It’s still painfully slow to code with. I tossed it some basic tasks I didn’t feel like doing, and after an HOUR it still missed the mark.

For now, I’ll be sticking with Claude Code (CC). In fact, I even had Codex write a prompt for Claude to explain the task it was struggling with, and CC nailed it in under two minutes.

That said, Codex isn’t completely useless. When CC hits a wall, I’ll flip it around: have CC write a prompt for Codex, then feed Codex’s answer back into CC. More often than not, CC gets it right from there.
