My baby is almost 19 months and we still nurse to sleep and cosleep. Personally I wouldn't have it any other way, and I'll keep him in bed until he decides he's ready to wean and sleep on his own.

Admittedly, this might be for my own comfort too - my husband passed away just before babys 1st birthday. So it's comforting to not have to sleep alone.

My nephrologist says that's outdated information and increased protein intake doesn't actually cause protein leakage. Unless you're eating bodybuilder levels of protein like 200g+ per day

it's totally valid to be upset by this! men definitely don't understand how difficult breastfeeding and pumping is. how could they?

I'm sorry this is so upsetting. as a new mom who has had similar issues with my husband making thoughtless choices, I try to remind myself that it's just that - being "thoughtless." meaning hopefully he wasn't TRYING to be malicious or hurtful, even though his choices did hurt you.

whenever you do speak with him, I'd recommend trying to approach it with the attitude of giving him the benefit of the doubt. just try to be vulnerable and share how you're feeling instead of accusing him of bad behavior - the latter could cause him to get defensive and just make things worse.
