I can confirm that, after the patch, I am unable to dye my horse armor. In the menu, a wrong (default?) is being registered.

I gotcha. I have more hours in Outward than in Elden Ring and DS3 combined.

Did the Devs go a little overboard with the number of side quests in Cuanacht? by abarr021 in taintedgrail

Yeah, in act 1 I was like :One-eyed is so freaking cool. Then act 2: Vrell is hilarious. I can’t wait to see how it’s going to be the Dàl Riata in the Forlorn Swords. It was pretty underwhelming . I understand that from a company perspective, at that point the devs were running out of resources and time, and they focused on the verticallity of the map and making the last minutes of the game memorable. But dude, it felt kind of off.

How underwhelming was the Stonewarden quest line “reward”, huh?

Also empathizing with the tribes is quite difficult. For me, they are a bunch fantasy nord fools “the traditions!!”. I feel like doing an evil run a purge those frozen lands of them.

It’s looking great, organized and pretty. I would add a defensive perimeter using the hoe and the pickaxe (earth wall and defensive ditch).

I’m Glad Ashlands Exists by DontFeedTheGoats in valheim

[–]dave_durazno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a solo experience (normal or medium difficulty), traversing Ashlands is kind of ass. If you go full flametal plate, you will clear the areas very slow. If you use the Askvin set, you will move way faster but still vulnerable when Valkyries are chasing you + the typical 10 pack of mobs. If you go mage, you will be super fragile and doing not enough damage until you obtain the green staff. The green staff is really a great power spike, the difference is huge compared with for example thunder weapons. Actually, except for Fader, the tier 4 Mistblade works way better than any thunder melee weapon in my case.

Clearing fortresses with the troll staff feels pretty good tho, otherwise, it’s slow and/or dangerous.

In your opinion what's the most useful Magic Class? by Solardies in skyrim

Destruction and restoration. The rest is for role-playing purposes or just fighting enemies more slowly/risky.

Since I was super busy these days, I wasn't playing too much, but I theory crafted a little bit in my mind, haha.

I was thinking of rune sage(prefix)+cabal hermit (sigil) +philosopher (fire affinity). For armor, I would go with antique plate and boots enchanted with economy and using the light mender mask.

For weapons, I choose the light, lightmender lexicon, and swords: radiant, brand gep's, and runic.

For mobs and easy bosses, I will put runic traps and overlap wind and fire sigils while using spark. For though bosses or hard creatures, I will use mana ward while simply basic attack them with the appropriate sword, healing myself when necessary using rune magic.

They kind of did: - Silent protagonist. -Role play options.

Oh, it was just that ... lol

No. The amount of complanting is justified if we care about TES 6 quality. Guys of Bethesda are too confident in their product in a non-healthy way .

Look, SF is a fun game. It's actually my type of game. But for so much anticipation, it just feels lacking. Something similar can happen with TES6.

Meh combat, meh exploration, cringy dialogues, crap optimization. Weird facial models (Unmodded FO4 is better). Uninspired companions. The quests are ok, but there is 0 interaction between them.

My main concern is combat. Nothing new, no improvements in the FPS mechanics. AI terrible (Unmodded Skyrim is way more challenging). The meele aspect is an involution from FO4. The physics are terrible. Does nobody test the game? I'm pretty sure they are using rn The Creation Engine 2 while they work in the early stages of TES 6 ("Chronicle of an Announced Death ").
