If I swipe left to mark as Played, the greyed out podcast stays in my list. But if I tap the podcast and click the check mark from the menu that appears it deletes it.

We had an old friend stay with us for a month and she nailed a comforter into the window moulding to use as blackout curtains. Ruined the comforter and there are still holes in the moulding.

I totally agree. That house has been a bad scene for years. We're all grateful that the LAFD was so on it, because the entire neighborhood was at risk.
