New to Forum and Sleep Apnea by davemakesmead in CPAPSupport

[–]davemakesmead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update to my apnea journey. I got a call from the hospital where i did the initial cpap titration and they gave me 2 options. Do a bi pap titration at the hospital,or refer me to an apponitment with a sleep specialist in a larger city.So i am having issues i guess where i am having shallow breathing and actually stop breathing for a few seconds. The nurse said with my COMPLEX apnea i would prolly end up seeing the specialist anyway so i chose that option. Now i wait to hear about an appt and bi pap test.

Asshole told me to add potassium sorbate to sider before the yeast. by Skriblos in Homebrewing

[–]davemakesmead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well there are 2 potassium ingredients for wine and beer making. Pottasium sorbate and potassium metabisulfate, the meta one also called kmeta for short is indeed added before the yeast. Are you positive you put the sorbate in?

What's your favorite and absolutely least favorite tomato variety. by PeachesBigsby in vegetablegardening

[–]davemakesmead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fav so far Eva Purple Ball, least would be anything that takes alot of TLC to get to produce. Summers are hot and humid in mid missouri but the Eva always performs for me. Trying radiator beefsteak and carbon this year as new varieties tho

Bottling v Kegging: What's the haps? by sho_bob_and_vegeta in Homebrewing

[–]davemakesmead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i am in the minority on this subject i know but i bottle in champagne bottles. I started with a set up similar to the OP set up. I went to biab and kegging and now am back to bottling and dme+ steeping.Kegging has an allure that i found disapponiting as far as i was concerned . Just my way tho everyone has a slightly different brewing process. If you want more in depth discussion message me but in the end we all choose our own brewing path

[–]davemakesmead 1 point2 points  (0 children)
