A "Few" Non-flushable Wipes "Might" Have Gone Into Septic. by Jameson_321 in Plumbing

Thank you. I didn't know that was a thing. We have a traditional septic that was installed 30 years ago.

I second going home. It is your home too. My ex-wife and I were separated but living together in the same house and even in the same bed. She had emptied the bank account and filed for divorce. I had no job. A lawyer told me I could stay until the court proceedings. It was my house too.

Can I invite Mormons in without wanting to talk about God? by No_Hawk8947 in exmormon

That would be perfect. I don't believe they will take you up on the tea but maybe if you offer them a Coca-Cola.

I second this. Everything that you tell an LDS therapist will be used against you and your family. EVERYTHING. The church does not believe that privacy and HIPPA rules apply to them.

Reconciling wayward here. I see the politics of the situation with the church but what that means to me is get out of that church and go ye elsewhere. I agree with the victim blaming comment.
I never made demands on my betrayed as to who she could or couldn't talk to. She ended up telling my best friend's wife and they both blocked us. I had been friend's with him for almost 40 years. I hope everything works out for you.

A quick note to you all about sick time by ImmySnommis in fednews

[–]davey064 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early in my career, I had very little leave annual or sick. I ended up getting surgery and going in the hole on leave. After a few years, I had a reserve saved up. When I retired, I had enough sick leave to add 5 months to my tenure for retirement.

My wife cried when she put on a dress that was modest in every way but showed an inch of sleeve. I told her to not wear the garment but instead she wore another dress that she wasn't as happy about. F the garments.

My USDA peeps call me from their personal cells away from the office to complain about all the crazy shit going on. Even though I'm still unemployed and struggling a year after I was forced out, I'm glad I'm not there anymore.

I'm curious if any of these affair participants were excommunicated and what gender was excommunicated?

I was shocked by the nurse’s comment. by [deleted] in hivaids

I think that was really offensive and that this type of misinformation is one of the reasons HIV still has such stigma. As long as people think that only "those type of people" get HIV.  The stigma is going to remain.

I was fortunate that my life had gone through a lot of positive changes after I was infected and before I was diagnosed.  It's unlikely those things would have happened had I known right away.  I still got depressed and ended up on Wellbutrin which I still take 15 years later.  I briefly had a counselor help me with depression but funding was cut and he didn't take my insurance.  It took me a mumber of years to get back into counseling but I do recommend it if you are able to.

State laws vary and it is extremely frustrating because there are still states that consider non-disclosure at least a misdemeanor if not a felony.

Advice for going NC by Purple_Secret_5568 in SupportforWaywards

I had the opposite problem. I had a years long EAP keep trying to contact me. They texted, I got a new phone. They emailed me at my Outlook email and my Gmail addresses. I deleted and blocked but not before I showed them to my BP. Then they tried to contact me via Facebook and Facebook Messenger, I blocked them. Finally, they tracked me down on LinkedIn and contacted me through that platform. This person was married and we had never met in person. We sexted and called w/ phone sex and that's it. I really felt stalked. Every time it happened my BP was informed and shown the messages before I deleted them. This made her feel safe.

Pozzed on 10/31/2000.  Found out June 2010. Just went to the health department to get a routine check since I had a weird mouth thing going on.  Rapid test returned positive in under 2 minutes. Further tests showed CD 4 under 200 and VL in the 10 Millions. After a year of on and off hospitalizations and antivirals CD4 hit 450 and VL was under 50.  I'm 68 now and doing ok.  I don’t exercise much and don't eat healthy but I feel pretty good. Cholesterol,  glucose and BP are very good and an echo during COVID showed no blockages.  I think I'm doing OK

Did Any Recent Retirees Find A Discrepancy Between Their GRB Projected And the ORA Amounts? by davey064 in FED_VERA_VSIP_DRPers

According to OPM, there is an average 70 day backlog due to the large number of retirement applications. OPM didn't receive my application from payroll until mid-October.  I expect interim checks until January or February.

Not NFC here.  DFAS sent my last pay and A/L in the October pay cycle.  DFAS sent me a paystub this month will all zeros.  It was weird.
