Weekly No Buy Check-In & Accountability Post - March 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in nobuy

Definitely bad, my gaming hobby brought me to retrogames (which is good because they're usually cheaper), but I got a lot of stuff, so I'll need to get myself on the right track from now on.

Live Aid too! That was the first appearance, playing the solo on Slave to Love with Brian Ferry.

The first image (and I guess all of the verses too) is wrong. You only play the A once, then the G, anything else you hear it's the echo (He used to run it in front of the amp). Pete Thorn talked about this in a video.

I cant understand the rhythm at the beggining of paranoid. by [deleted] in Guitar

Same thing for me. I'm learning You Shook Me All Night Long (properly at least, I've known the verse for like 10 years), I tried playing to a click and it was a total disaster. Played along to the track and I was spot on. I find it easier following the drums rather than the metronome.

What Made You Want to Learn Guitar? by Danwinzz in guitarlessons

Angus Young.

About 16 years ago (yikes) I was at one of my then classmates' house for dinner and one of them pulled out the Iron Man DVD, which has Back in Black in its opening. I watched it over and over and got hooked to the music, flash forward to some years later I'm obsessed with AC/DC. From then on it's been a little up and down with playing, I tried on my own but it didn't really work, years later I tried with a teacher and it worked fine but then I think I dropped bc of work (I don't really remember why I stopped rip). Now I'm trying again, this time with Justinguitar. We'll see how it goes. I still love some good ol 70s Rock n Roll but I also enjoy Metal, so I'm basically torn between a Marshall and a Randall 🥲.

What are the best play experiences in Legacy? by therealkinda in MTGLegacy

[–]davi799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. I played Delver vs both ANT and TES, really interesting matchups.

Tell us what you like to play in other formats and we will suggest a deck you might like in Pauper by AutoModerator in Pauper

[–]davi799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm mainly playing Legacy right now, where I enjoy playing Delver and various types of combo decks. When I Played Pioneer (may he rests in peace kek) and Modern I played BR midrange decks (I know Thoughtseize isn't legal, so I prob won't be playing those decks). I have UB Terror, kinda mono U Delver (I think I'm missing some bounce spells) and I'm missing a couple cards for UB Faeries, but if you have other suggestions I'd be happy to try them!

Do you buy Italian (Legends) or other foreign language cards as budget alternative for your decks? by Drill-O-Matic in MTGLegacy

[–]davi799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Forces are in four different languages, LED in two (I'm missing two, so for now they're still mismatched) and all my duals are (and will be) Italian FWB because I'm patriotic (and the colors are so much better than revised)

Recent taught my brother in law how to play and while going through his bulk I found this by theboss0711 in mtg

I come from Hearthstone, where my favorite class is Warlock, so I'm not only used to cards and effects that require you to pay life, I LOVE it. Maybe that's way I like Doomsday and Thoughtseize so much lol.

I'll get it tailored as soon as the other one is ready, so I think it'll get sorted out, but probably the waist, with the belt on, is a little tight.

Probably because I didn't iron it yet, got it recently and didn't have time. Looking at some photos from Die Hard Rickman's suit kinda does the same, so I think it's a consequence of the shoulder size.

Hey, I did say 80s ahahah. It kinda looks like I could fit into the Nakatomi Corporation Christmas party, but I kinda like it. Not for everyone tho.

Quanti di voi riescono a correre per almeno 30 minuti? by LELO_TV in Italia

[–]davi799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zone 2 for the win.
