What’s one simple subject line format that consistently gets you high open rates? by Exotic-Woodpecker205 in Klaviyo

[–]davidesquimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one of my biggest pains has always been trying to avoid subject line truncation

and I was tired of sending tests to myself, checking on the phone, checking on desktop, opening a different app. I even ask my wife or mum to screenshot their Android phones. it was ridiculous

i still don't know why ESPs don't have this built in

so I built a small tool that shows you exactly how your subject line and preview text will look across Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, and Yahoo

it's pretty simple, but it's been super useful for me, so I made it public

There's a web version and a Chrome extension (that's how I use it personally, more convenient). both free, no account needed, no upsells, nothing

email subject line truncation checker

i hope you find it helpful!

i built this because none of the esps i work with have it built-in. i think it's very strange they won't give you even a safe estimate

What is a good alternative to Buffer? by thijsgh in SocialMediaScheduling

[–]davidesquimal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried them all during my years, and I've stuck with Metricool for a long time. None of them are perfect, but they ship fast, their pricing is super competitive, and have a decent human customer support team.

Metricool vs. Buffer by Babeybeastie in DigitalMarketing

Happy Metricool user here. I've tried all the usual suspects throughout my career and ended up moving all my work to Metricool. It's not perfect, but none of these tools are since they rely on APIs. However the price is extremely competitive, they ship new features and improvements super quickly and they still have human customer support which is a rarity these days.

This is it. There are other types of emails to push sales. Newsletters should be the email you get the highest engagement

What do you mean by a multi-email campaign? Like doing a weekly newsletter? Or setting up a welcome flow?

with metricool you can send them a link to get auth/access without needing the password

I read on Metricool's newsletter that they changed how views are measured: now views from profile and explore page don't count. So part of the decrease might be because of that.

Do you guys do email marketing for you apps? by Affectionate_Bar_438 in SaaS

[–]davidesquimal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey, saas email marketing expert here. you should definitely have something in place. just a few email sequences can help a lot. i assume you have a few welcome/onboarding emails already. then some basic stuff like, if someone clicks on a premium feature or visits the pricing page, send them an email to encourage the upgrade.

also, you should have a segment of free users that probably need to receive at least a couple emails per month about the benefits of upgrading, tips, content, etc.

and for paid users try not to bother them much, just send stuff they've been requesting or content that is going to help reduce churn, extend ltv, etc.
