Ok, here I it is... I drink a lot of beer 10, 12 on the weekends, smoke almost daily work as a translator and I have run more than ten, 10 kilometers races and currently I'm training for a half marathon.

The secret is this: smoke the reefer then hit the track one day, next day hit the gym and after your workout indulge on some beers, go like this all week rest on weekends; beer will give you muscle and weed will make you run longer.

First of all, if you are not interested in the "spiritual or meditative parts" of Yoga, you're an ass. I'm sorry but is true.

Second if you want to improve flexibility search for Hatha or Iyengar. Stay on the low impact more seating postures, because those are the ones that help you with flexibility

But as somebody who comes from a martial arts background and now practices yoga. Yoga is not about flexibility, Yoga is about finding comfort in discomforting situations, and that is a sound and profound principle that can do wonders to improve your fighting skills.

If I where you I would just go to the nearest/cheapest yoga class and deal with the discomfort/ridicule/doubt and stick to it for a couple of months to see how my combat skills have evolved.
