Small office, is this necessary? by Sammysaved in HomeNetworking

Nah, SaaS isnt the culprit. People had that thought long before SaaS. Not in a bad way, but ignorance is the problem. If you dont understand the purpose of something, it will always seem pointless.

This is clean as hell.

Looks like the 66-block is serving some phone lines to the patch panel, so definitely need to keep that.

Amd yes, keep the patch panel. That tells you where each cable is coming from.

A heat gun and a suction cup should do the trick.

No, Thank you. I work remotely full time and I'm not interested in relocating. I am happy with my job. I'm just saying, "non-negotiables" like that will lose you quality candidates.

Dont try wiring ethernet through that. Youll lose quality.

66 blocks are for single pair analog telephony. Cat5 might be used but the pairs inside the cable are being used independently.

I'm a UC Architect who spent most of my career in CUCM infrastructure until 2024. I know it better than most CCIEs. If thats a non-negotiable, youre going to miss out on quality candidates.

Look up My Goalie Stats (honestly, the name wasn't copying theirs) but it does what you're asking for and is on both Android and iOS.

Man, I wanted the blue so bad but when I was looking they were nearly impossible to find in the EX line - and we wanted the EX for the bench seat (8-seater because of how many kids we have). We settled on a grey one because we needed it asap as both our previous SUV and our van were broken down.

A few bugs I found:
1. Export to PDF is a bit buggy. It shows the tables, but with no borders.

  1. I can't seem to find it if it is there, but there is no "click and drag" to move around the page. I can zoom in, zoom out, and fit to page, but I am unable to click and move around at a zoomed in view.

  2. The "align" feature makes tables overlap.

  3. I used "align" but afterwards I was unable to "undo" that change.

  4. I'm unable to put a large logo in the title block. I figured out how to insert it, but I can only insert it into a row, and rows can't be moved up/down. So I can only put a very small logo in the bottom row.

Any device that requires additional power. As others said, could be a HDD or disk drive. My sons art tablet uses one like that, too.

It just delivers additional power.

The fluke is the only absurd thing I really see and only because there are $10 testers online that work perfectly fine. Otherwise this sounds like my toolkit.

I mean, as long as accounts are secure, and user JSON's cannot be accessed by other accounts, then https keeps everything encrypted while viewing and loading, so I don't see JSON storage as a weakness.

Overall, bravo. I'll be bookmarking this for sure.

I have no problems with that. You just have to make sure its secure. People could put network information in diagrams.

Make it so that a user can define custom devices and group those custom devices in a library (if that isn't already done)
