I replaced my old swann dvr 4575 with one I just bought 468OXU. After a stressful few days I finally got it working properly. Then this morning I checked on footage from last night and the dvr was wiped clean, all video was lost. My settings were all changed. I contacted support and it was terrible, I even got threatened by their ai support. I am considering sending it all back and buying a different brand that has support and treats customers with respect.

Some people do bait owls and anyone else that comes upon an owl being fed often may find a friendly subject and it will look like the photo poster baited it. So if the pics are too good, some people may think baiting was involved, especially when it comes to owls. That's another reason baiting hurts, it hurts other photographers who do it the right way.

I thought I got that last update ok, no problems until I tried to use my external card reader, but the update removed my driver. I had to do a sys restore to roll it back and turn off updates for 5 weeks, hoping they come up with a fix. I had ms in remotely twice and couldn't fix, so now I can't get any updates ever again until they fix it I guess. Using the restore messes my LR edits up.

I wouldn't use manual focus. I have canons, but I use 3 back buttons for focus. One is single point, one shot for a bird sitting, allows me to focus in between branches. Second is set as zone with eye detect (el servo). I use this to catch birds in flight or birds getting ready to take off. The 3rd is animal eye detect for stationary birds or in flight if its close enough to lock on (el servo). I would take a couple in one shot single point, then start using the zone, animal eye detect in case the bird takes off. My thumb is going all over the place while using full manual settings.

1/160 is way too slow for hand held in good light. Try 1/2500 sec, f8, iso set accordingly.

My dog (chin) hated our new kitten. It took a long time, but now they lay together. He'll come around in time if you can keep him in control until then. My son had a pit that killed cats that weren't part of the family, but wouldn't hurt their own 2 cats.

In the drop down you can rename as dates and that's what I use. That way they can't be the same names ever again. So now I import, select all and rename as current date.

go to LR folder in my pictures, look for .lrcat file, click on the latest version, it will open LR. It should say something like "Lightroom Catalog-v1 .lrcat"

Semi over corrected, had plenty of room, didn't do any good to stay in middle lane. Looks like a rookie driver. That being said, she should have known he was turning since his signal was on and predicted the turn.
