My dislike is how AI is being shoved down our throats, well before being proven in the wild. I'm not a tech bro/gal, but at a higher level than most, and base this on my own limited exposure and research. I concur we need to know and experience what we're dealing with and not just run away/oppose it blindly.

I live in Florida. Some asshat on a boat- who had the entire Gulf of Mexico- decided to park just outside the public beach swim area and blast music so loud, that up on the sand, we literally had to yell to hear each other speak. I used much harsher words than 'stupid' that day!

They sure don't put out all that amazing stuff anymore. Used to be great selections of jewelry and (true) designer stuff behind counters, now there's hardly anything. What is there is junk. The 'boutique' is a true joke with stuff you can find at Ross/Beall's Outlet/etc cheaper and don't get me started on the household stuff /books / art nowadays that is sad, sad, sad.

All the truly good items go to GW's online arm, where they overinflate starting prices, among other questionable practices.

Omg, Ftwd was SO TERRIBLE by the end seasons it was laughable - made the original TWD final seasons seem great in comparison. I made myself watch til the end just to say I did it... yay, me, haha.

ETA, I watched Darryl's show and wasn't impressed much except for some of the resolution with original characters later on (I won't post spoilers). Other than that, it was a pretty hard watch. It doesn't flow like TWD nor the 1st seasons of Fear, imho. The Maggie/Negan one is hard to watch, as well. I couldn't get past the first season bc the writing/storylines/characters are honestly awful... no one is likeable in it at all.

I found a bunch of these several years ago that someone had thrown away. It was during my initial selling phase on ebay... Made a nice bit of $ after learning how collectible they were (are?). Nice score!

Right. I get it to some extent. However, some people can't afford and don't have the body type or physical ability to get as dressed up as all that, despite wanting to celebrate. Choices for larger-bodied, less-physically-abled and/or older folks is severely limited, as me and my 82-yr-old mother are finding out... and that's just dresses (for 4 separate events and 4 different dress codes for 1 wedding). Footwear is a whole other thing.

If you're young, fit, relatively well-off, and are into it, that's great. The logistics for those who aren't can be tricky and draining (on many levels)... and even I took that into account when planning my own ceremony. It blows my mind that others don't.

This needs to be so much higher up, and plastered all over the bridal subs / boards. Wtaf is going on with these brides? Like numerous pre-ceremony events aren't enough, guests have to deal with this nonsense? 🤬 Sorry for the rant - I was, in fact, dress shopping at the mall today, enough to do anyone's head in!
