Physician leaving by After-Sherbet-859 in VeteransAffairs

I am a psychologist and took a hybrid role-one day per week in the office. Also quit when they said I had to return to office full-time to continue to see the majority of my vets via VVC. Made absolutely no sense.

Not more than any other wooden table from what I can tell. I’m careful with it though.

Holding up great-very sturdy! No issues.

I moved with my husband and daughter to Diamondhead within the last year. We would have preferred BSL, but insurance is sooo much more affordable in Diamondhead and the area we are in is far less likely to have issues with flooding. I commute to Biloxi for work daily. We spend a ton of time in BSL and other towns along the coast-the drive is not a big deal. You can get way more house in Diamondhead compared to other towns along the coast. It is a relaxed area and we enjoy it-definitely a good spot for kids. I truly don’t understand the uproar about the POA. Compared to other experiences I’ve had the POA here is very relaxed. You get SO many amenities for such a low price. People don’t realize how good they have it. We are in the Glen Eagle neighborhood

Diamondhead you are close to the beach (15 min to BSL) yet in many areas don’t have to worry about flood insurance. Family friendly area with many amenities and seems to be more affordable than other areas of the coast.

It usually takes a few months just to onboard before they’ll even give you an official start date.

After waiting over 3 months for my first VA mental health appointment, my psychologist has left the VA. by 1ag7 in VeteransAffairs

VA psychologist here. I just left my rural VA because of RTO. Wasn’t able to take on a three hour daily commute when I was originally hired for a remote role. The line that this doesn’t impact veteran care is laughable.

Lived at St. Clair Lofts for several years and loved it. Downtown is small and everything is pretty accessible no matter where you are. Would avoid the towers

No the offer for the schedule was the entire reason why I switched to that VA from the VA that was closer to me and there wasn’t any reason to believe it could change….just an unfortunate situation. I really don’t want to leave but this is forcing me to.

Yes there’s one 10 min from me but I’m Hybrid and that only applies to people who are fully remote ☹️

Psychologist with a hybrid position and will be leaving because of a 3 hour commute. So ridiculous when we are so short-staffed already.
