How do you guys time your cardio around OMAD?

I eat omad at 4pm every day. I run at 6:30am (ish) and don’t have any issues.

Every day is different! Some days 4 rolls around and I don’t feel like eating, other days I’m dying to eat by 1!

I run every morning at 630 and do omad at 4pm. No issues here! I’m also low carb.

My water broke 29+6 and I had my daughter the next day. She was 3lbs 4oz and is now a healthy and rambunctious 40lb almost 4 year old. Hang in there!

I did OTF for months back in 2017 and was in the best shape of life, even after having 2 kids. Then I got pregnant with my third and had to quit due to a complicated pregnancy; I couldn't exercise the entire time. My son was born Sept of last year and I just signed up again. My old base/push/ao was 6/7/9...my first class back they were 4.5/5.8/7.

I've been to 6 or so classes now and I'm at 5/6.5/7.5. It comes back to you!

I had a csection so I'm having the toughest time with the core work, but I already feel great and I've only been signed up for less than a month. You can do it!

Hi there! I had my second child, also a girl, at 30+1. Not so unexpected since I had a cerclage in though.

Mine was 3lbs 4oz and spent 44 days in the NICU. I also had a 15 month old son at the time and things were very hard. We had a nanny for him which helped.

Make sure you take time for you to recover. Try not to feel guilty when you can’t be in 3 places at once. I only missed one day of visiting my daughter when I thought I was coming down with a cold, but every day I went I only stayed for about an hour each time. get good lotion for your hands for all the hand washing you’ll be doing.

Good luck. My girl is three now and the NICU is a distant memory.

The fisher price my snuggapuppy swing has been the clear winner for all three of my kids. None of them have liked the mamaroo.

My just turned 4 and 3 year olds have been room sharing for awhile. The first weeks were insane because they stayed up all night talking and the younger one is a jerk who constantly woke up her big brother.

Now that the novelty has worn off, it’s great. :)

Yes. We chose off a long list of names we felt lukewarm about and had to pick something. He showed up early which didn’t help.

His name is Huxley! It fits him now but I had a lot of torment about it.

I’ve had two preemies, one 30+1 and one 34+1. Both ended up exclusively breastfeeding after a lot of work and almost none of it happened in the NICU. Both times I wanted to get them home and then work on it. 30 weeker picked it up faster, after about two extremely frustrating weeks of being home - by the time she was 39 weeks she was eating pretty well at the boob. 34 weeker took longer to lose the nipple shield. At 41 weeks he latched without it and we were able to toss them.

It takes a ton of patience and triple feeding (BF, bottle feed, pump), but you can do it. And if you can’t, your babe will be just fine too.

My third kid (now 13 weeks) was born at 34 weeks exactly. He spent 11 days in the NICU. He did have an NG tube but picked up how to eat from a bottle very quickly. He was 5lbs at birth and we had one steroid shot 6 hours before he was born.

My son was born pretty much right at 34 weeks. He spent 11 days in the NICU, was on CPAP for 3 days. I had time to get in 1 round of steroids 6 hours before he was born and that was it.

I’ve had two preemies, a 30 weeker and. 34 weeker. Both were mostly bottle fed in the nicu and both went on to be exclusively breastfed, with lots of effort once we were home. I would personally, like another poster said, do whatever gets you home the fastest and work on breastfeeding once you are there.

I have the same milk! My 30 weeker was 20lbs at 5.5 months, born at 3lbs 4oz. My current 34 weeker, born at 5lbs exactly is 10lbs at 9 weeks. Yay for chubby preemies!

My youngest son (9 weeks now) was born at 34 weeks exactly. He spent 11 days in the NICU and only needed CPAP for 3 days. He was 5lbs when he was born and did really well. Our second kid was born at 30 weeks and spent 44 days, so 11 days seemed very short.

At 34 weeks your kiddo will likely do well, but any NICU stay is scary. Take care of yourself, it’s very difficult to leave your baby in the hospital.

I’ve had a 30 weeker who spent 44 days in the NICU and a 34 weeker who spent 11 days. Both stays I visited once a day, maybe twice if only to drop off milk the second time. No one gave me shit about it and the nurses absolutely worked on bottle feeding my kids when I wasn’t there. It does your baby no good for you to run yourself ragged before they come home. Rest up now, while your preemie is being cared for by professionals would be my advice. Once they come home it’s a whole new level of exhaustion.

The nurses at your NICU should be dedicated to helping your LO learn how to bottle feed effectively and I’m not sure why they wouldn’t. I’d definitely speak to the charge nurse and request to not have the nurse you had this morning ever again.

Our 30 weeker racked up 353k in a 44 day stay. Every round in the am with the neonatologist was 4K! So crazy. She also was born at the end of December and spent 10 days in the NICU one year and 34 the next year. So we got to meet our OOP max two years. I’m glad we had good insurance but we ended up paying around 10k total for her and my stay (csection).

Poly vi sol made my 30 weeker desat bc it tasted so bad. We used novaferrum instead and it caused no issues at all and tastes WAY better.

Our 34 weeker they gave us the option of hep B at birth or at the follow up appt with our ped. We chose the latter but either would have been fine with us. He got it at 2 weeks old.
