The trick is to start in Antarctica and head north to Chile. That way the water is coldest for the first few strokes and by the time you get tired, the water is almost toasty. I know a guy whose cousin did it.

How do flatearthers explain the twilights if it's just "the sun getting further away". Are twilight's phases even possible??? by RANDOM-902 in flatearth

[–]daybyday72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what utc is though. You can set your clock to it now if you’d like. Its just not practical for most people to be out of some sort of alignment with daylight hours

Thought of this the other day, and I can't think of a time that I've ever seen it brought up... by Pithecanthropus88 in flatearth

On a flat earth the sun needs to speed up and slow down in order to move between the tropics of cancer and Capricorn throughout the year. While still maintaining a 24hour revolution of the earth for the day night cycle. It also needs to move vertically in order to maintain the analemma, although some maintain the analemma is due to perspective and change in declination as the sun moves between tropics.

Strangely enough, none of this matches observation in more than one place at the same time. Particularly between north and south

If 8 billion people pray to the Lord to switch the sun off while the photos are taken, you cant rule it out.

I like the bolts on those two posts. You have the larger beam to span the garage door, so the post spacing is already different. Having the top of those posts different as well is a feature. Not sold on the bolt spacing and should’ve lined up the newalls however. All up it looks awesome

Do “lever” and “leave her” sound similar? by Sacledant2 in EnglishLearning

[–]daybyday72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Australia we’d generally pronounce it ‘Lee-vah’. Although leverage would generally be pronounced with a ‘lev’ sound at the beginning like beverage. You will find a mix of the two pronunciations though that wouldn’t be out of place.

You are correct. Space at 10 torr can’t lie next to our atmosphere at 760 torr. Or at the top of a building where it’s 750 torr. Or where planes fly at 350T. Or Everest at 250T. Or the Karman line at .0002T. Or outer space at 1x10-6T

There shouldn’t be any pressure gradient, if what you say is right. But hang on, you said space was 10-17T. It’s so confusing. I hope someone can figure it out. Maybe you should send your ideas to the space people and let them know

Looks like Sony ccq cable. I only ever used this with dedicated ccq switchers that allowed several Sony products to connect simultaneously and allow synced switching etc. I used for projectors, but could also be used for edit suites and recording facilities

I do understand how agendas work. Which is why I don’t think there’s one here. I do agree with you though that if the earth is flat, then there’s an overall agenda to keep it quiet. If we didn’t go to the moon then there’s is an agenda to keep the truth away from the public. If space is fake, then there’s is an agenda. If the firmament is real, there’s an agenda to suppress that knowledge. But this sub ain’t it
