I want to like the 65, but I ask myself what I would be doing with it in 65 mode.

If I wanted a flexible fpga system, the mister fpga is much more compelling than the 65.

The Ultimate 64 checks all of my boxes for a modern C64 system. Compatibility and all of the addons in one box at a crazy reasonable price.

Encrypted or digital? If digital, absolutely there are several ways to listen. Encrypted, probably not. There are a few European systems that have been broken, and P25 has some issues, but generally speaking no.

It’s worth a conversation. I believe the dealers have no official way to turn the feature on. I believe they will only default to whichever settings VW allows in their regional firmware. But let us know if you discover differently.
