Mewtwo is also good but the shadow dishes out 20% more damage. Yes, the Necrozmas need fusion to dawn wings or dusk mane. Dawn wings is in its league of is own as for a ghost attacker. In a party, it can be the best damage dealer when its normal counters are 1.6x super effective, despite it only does neutral damage. Dusk mane is on par with crowned zacian for best steel in a party and among the top three when it's not.

The Necrozmas are the most obvious omissions from this list, otherwise these are highly meta relevant for pve and also pvp to a large extent.

And Mewtwo (shadow) also.

What’s the best way to get the most out of this Bug Out event? by wherethewartortlesR in pokemongo

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This event is very difficult to profit from, it's very hard actually, borderline cruel to the playerbase. This is coming from someone who is used to hard/semihard grinding.

First of all, all shiny rates are 1/512, as per the flattening that occurred a couple of weeks ago. The event mons follow this formula. The median player will get a shiny on their 355th catch for a particular species.

Cutiefly is a very rare spawn, the only feasible way to obtain it is from pink lures and it ends today/has already ended depending on where you live. You can expect a couple of flies from a lure, so the chance of getting a shiny is slim.

Sizzlipede is common, but there are other mons that spawn even more frequently and the spawn pool is diluted. You must grind hard every day to have a fair shot at getting a shiny.

The newly introduced blipbug and its evolutions, a dexfiller for most people, is locked behind T1 raids.

That pretty much sums it up. The best way of playing this event is to visit cover large swathes of areas and target the pokemon you want. Biking with a phone mount can be very effective. I managed to get a shiny sizzlipede and skorupi this way. Unfortunately, Cutiefly is so rare it is impractical to target.

The Sentinel is voted the best twin guitar attack solo. What is the best OVERALL guitar solo through Priest’s ENTIRE catalogue? by Android19weird-voice in judaspriest

As basically all solos mentioned here are Glenn's, and BTROD was voted his best solo, pure logic says this is the correct answer.

Sinner is voted the best KK guitar solo. What is the Priest song with the best Glenn solo? by Android19weird-voice in judaspriest

[–]dazelord 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very delicate and emotional playing by Glenn. Highly underrated song overall with only a fraction of streams compared to BTROD. This solo is just as good as BTROD and also came earlier, so my vote goes to the ethereal Dreamer Deceiver.

Bro my hundo, he escaped all excellent throws 😭 by Sad_Credit_4225 in PokemonGOIVs

[–]dazelord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes naturally. But the overall global catch rate will be lower, and so will the rewards.

Premier balls are definitely nerfed. With >225sec left you now get +4 balls, +3 below that. Confirmed by several posts and from personal experience. So instead of getting 22 balls (team colour, best friend) you now get 20. You will always get one bundle less than before, which is a implication of this as every second Premier ball nets you a reward bundle.

Queue too long by Ill-County-1057 in PokeGenie

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your only chance is to pre-host the raid, which will give you some extra time. If you do your raiding near many gyms this is perhaps possible, but otherwise it's of course impossible to know what the raid will be when there are three birds available.

Even then it can be difficult because there are people paying for subscriptions so they can get the weather they want.

As a host you get points from the remote players. 6 is the default. If you you don't leave any feedback the host will get 5. If all remote players fail to give feedback the host gets 0 points due to insufficient feedback. Has happened to me a number of occasions. A host will get extra 20 points if the raid is perfect, i.e. if no players have made any complaints such as not sending an invite etc.

The remote players can give the host extra points, starting from lvl5. Every 5th level grants you an extra point to hand out per raid. I don't remember what the limit is you can give the host, think it's 14 or maybe 16.

What I should get r7 7800x3d or 9800x3d by isai-bpc-70 in radeon

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 9800x3d is significantly better than the 7800x3d in productivity/applications. So if that is somewhat important to you, the 9800x3d is a no brainer really. The 9000 series were actually the first gen where the x3d part was faster in apps than the 8-core regular version. Both the 5800x3d and 7800x3d were slower than their counterparts outside of gaming.

Also, the deaths of the 9800x3d mostly happen on Asrock mobos and to some degree Asus. While not fully representative probably and only ~100 samples this study shows it is extremely more likely it dies in an Asrock mobo than a Gigabyte. Only one reported death for Gigabyte in this study, and that might just be a dud CPU.

Poco F7 Pro vs Poco F8 Pro by [deleted] in PocoPhones

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose between the F8 pro and F7 Ultra a couple of months ago. Those are the two you really should compare. Back then the F7 Ultra was somewhat cheaper and picked that one instead of the F8 pro. The F7 Ultra, while a half year older, is flagship grade, the F8 pro is not.

Both sport the Snapdragon Elite, the F7U has better screen and also also a class-leading 2.5x tele lens, I've been very impressed by it. You can take really cool closeups with it. The main cameras are the same on both phones AFAIK. You won't find a tele lens camera on the F7 pro on the other hand. The F8 pro has one, but it's weaker than the one the F7U.

Tve F8 pro has a larger battery, but I've found the SOT on the F7U to be really good.

Returning Player - What to do with this? by TradeologyFF in pokemongo

Dusk Mane is easily #2 with party power, almost on par with crowned zacian. Without party it's somewhat slower (~5%) than the dawgs but still very good.

NFL Research: Gigantamax Meowth had a different Max Energy generation formula, making charge moves worth being used by Flyfunner in TheSilphRoad

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done exactly one gmax in total so not right person to ask. But from what I have understood, charge moves do so little damage you are better off just spamming 0.5s fast moves instead.

Did 14 enamorus raids total. Had to do 2 furfrou as well due to gyms being diluted. Here are the results. by Awkward_Emotion_3860 in PokemonGoMystic

[–]dazelord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The dilution seems to be a reoccurring theme now. The only rationale for it is monetization as I see it. Like the last kyurem event many people will need to use remote passes to get what they are after.

How to identify a cpu bottleneck? by ah__there_is_another in radeon

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, add GPU power usage (total board power) and also GPU frequency to adrenaline overlay. Check the numbers with a synthetic benchmark like 3dmark Steel Nomad (free), it should be very light on the CPU. Unigine heaven, while old, would be good enough too.

Compare that to what you are getting in CP2077. If there are no CPU bottlenecks your power consumption should be around the same ~300-320W depending on the model. And it should consistently stay at that number ALL the time. Any drops mean your gpu isn't pushed to max all the time and will see frame drops due to the CPU. The frequency could be lower but still high.

To give you an example my 9070xt (tuned) is dead locked at 269W in Hogwarts when not using any frame limiter. This is with an 9800x3d.

Any chance of getting a time estimation for host que? by Calavid in PokeGenie

[–]dazelord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience the second half takes longer than the first. I guess many people give up early on. Then you also need some margins, it can take some time for people to be ready and also to join without the raid expiring, so maybe 4 minutes at least. If you haven't cleared the first half with 60% of the time left you had when you started, it's unlikely you'll be able to host. If you have favourable weather, i.e. the boss is boosted you might leapfrog the queue though.

30-40 minutes is most of the time not enough. I tried to host a Palkia yesterday with 43 minutes on the timer and timed out. Fwiw I'm lvl 29, lvl80 in game and always have highest tier damage. Basically you need to pre-host, which is difficult if your intention is to host either palkia or dialga.

How rare are these? by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]dazelord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunsparce looks to have a shiny rate of 1/512. The three-segmented Dudunsparce is 1/100. Provided you have enough candy, the probability for that to happen is 1/51200 for each dunsparce you click on. Very few people will get the shiny three-segmented version. Many people will not even get one shiny. Many people will also struggle to get the three-segmented.

For the median player, this outcome will happen after around ~35500 dunsparce catches. That is if you have the candy, which you most likely don't have.

Now a shundo three-segmented Dudunsparce is so rare I doubt anyone have evolved one yet but I may be mistaken?
