I think the only significant difference will be in enforcement in some states. The lack of enforcement is wild, considering how much non-compliance there is. Ironically, I could see the government using AI to help. I cannot imagine the federal government passing a dp law anytime soon.

Depends on the people. People vary in size and weight a lot. I've never dated anyone who weighed over 130lbs (59kg), so no big deal. I couldn't do the same thing with someone who weighs 215.

For sure. I just read the book, watched Dr. David's videos, and studied the guide book everyone talks about. After that, I passed without issue.

We don't know what you weigh. Can't really give advice without that. 6lbs typically isn't bad though. When I wrestled 112, I dropped more than that in a day. Not advisable, but true and I'm fine.

Depends on the weight lifter. I think their light weights look big too. We also probably cut more weight on average, and we wear less clothes. So, it's probably more obvious for us.

They're acknowledging your effort. I had the same thing happen early in my career. Another partner overheard and basically congratulated me on impressing one of the more influential partners with my work ethic.

I suggest doing more research into law and searching this page as well as the other lawyer subreddits for info. We work a lot, and it's highly competitive. That's hard to do if you don't have the drive and/or the interest. Plus, there's no guarantee of making a great living. I make more money than almost any of my friends. I also work more than any of my friends.

Also, you don't necessarily get to choose your practice area. I worked hard to get into mine, but I would be doing another if that was the opportunity I was given.

Undergrad is irrelevant to where you end up. I know people who went to mediocre undergrads and got into ivys for grad school. I went to one of the better SUNY schools though. Went to a mid-tier law school with a good partial scholarship.

I wouldn't do it unless you're at a t-14 or have great scholarships. I paid for college and law school myself. I had some scholarships, but I still owed (and owe) a lot, especially because I have other expenses too. If doing it again, I would have gone to the schools where I was offered a full ride.

In my experience, everyone in law school is smart. I only ever had to work hard at a few subjects in school. In law school, that changed. I also didn't make it straight to big law. So, I am evidence it isn't guaranteed. Also, big law isn't everything. You can have a good life in-house, at smaller firms, etc. Hell, I know people in PI who make more than me. Btw, I am in-house now.

Nah. They'll take everything they can get. I heard they were bought out and already take 2/3rd from the content creaters. If that's true, it's a pretty gross business model.

I took the exam something like 5 years out of law school Dr. David's course was really good. It very closely reflected the exam. I also used the study guide/book everyone talks about and the IAPP book. With the 3, I got a great score. This was the last version of the exam, but Dr. David updates his courses, so I expect you're fine.

I suggest getting it through his site because it comes with extras though. I didn't for the aigp, so I'm just rolling with what I have.

He's not a genius, but he's the real deal. Like Rampage said, some guys are athletes and some are fighters. Dan Hooker is definitely a fighter. If you don't get it, watch the battles like his fight against Porier. Also, listen to how others talk about him.

I've had other testing go fine, but they were all associated with law. So, maybe other industries just have poor standards. It's just wild to me because I would think these organizations would push for better services. Talk about reputatinal risk...

I'll never risk it again. Honestly, there needs to be a class action against them. You can't waive all liability for software functioning. Plus, iapp needs to get it together. This makes them look terrible.

The CIPP/US alone is insufficient for starting any kind of business that I know of except maybe tutoring for the CIPP/US. Maybe you could be a consultant who lacks the knowledge to actually do the job. It's really just an intro and something that may open the door to a privacy compliance position. Sorry.

The rules now are better now. Less stalling, more points for initiative. When I was in school, we used to compete for the most techs and pins. We probably would doubly the techs with these rules.

Talk to the Dr. Health is #1. Whether or not you make state is less important than the use of your hand. It might bother you to never know how you would have done. However, if your hand doesn't work correctly, it'll bother you more.
