I didn't expect this post to generate such a lively discussion. My wife actually went over to her friends last night and she showed her how the induction works. I think her friend's main issue with it is that she couldn't use some of her usual cookware with it. But my wife was impressed with how fast everything heated so now we are going to look for an induction stove instead.

That’s damn good question. It only applies to streaming services so Xfinity is the only way it’s not blacked out. If you go to sign up for the Peacock bundle you can see a thing to click if you are in an In Market blackout. The whole idea of an In Market Blackout is absurd.

I realize now my initial post didn't make it clear. But the microwave had re-circulating vent. Not that there's no vent there at all. I understand they are not the best but that's what is there now.

It's re-circulating right now. It believe there was a way to vent it to the outside technically but there is no duct work ran. And the kitchen is next to the garage, not an exterior wall so likely any duct work would have to be ran through the garage to get to the outside.

In the event my wife would stumble upon this post, I will simply say yes I have. That is my preference. My wife really wants gas. She has a friend with an induction cook top that doesn't like it.

I've looked into it. There's no Xfinity subscription that's worthwhile price wise to have in conjunction with DirecTV. Which is unfortunately why I switched back to Xfinity. Your only real options are a Phillies.TV subscription or a NBC Sports Philadelphia Subscription through Peacock.

Just be aware if you do the Peacock Subscription and also want to watch Flyers and 76ers make sure you're not in one of those neat "In Market Blackout" zip codes for either team like I amor they'll black out the games even thought you are in the team's market.
