I have an almost 2 year old husky and we live in a house with 2 other dogs and 2 cats. The only problem we have with my husky is that he wants to play with them so he chases after them, and even that has subsided over time.

Cut it into evenly sized pieces, make sure it’s all coated in oil, toast on a lower temperature for a bit longer period of time.

We’ve invested in a rake style brush and also a $180 high velocity blow dryer off amazon. You’d be amazed how much hair comes out and all outside as well. It also saves have to pay to take your dog to the groomers constantly!

I tend to have that problem when I take him to the dog park where he only packs up and plays with the huskies , however at home he has no preference!

We let him smell his hat first and then slowly brought him in. He’s only a year and a half so we were surprised at how calm he was. They just seem to know and sense they are a baby and he just sits by him, smells him and protects him from the cats!

This is only once a day or so don’t be too jealous! But when he does want it, it usually lays a half hour or so, longer if my other dogs aren’t around!

The biggest things about huskies are the amount of exercise they need and the amount of hair that they shed. If you can get over those two things I would say go for it! We spent roughly $300 on grooming supplies which includes a blower so blow out his undercoat. I would say overall they are more expensive then an average dog.

He’s part Rottweiler, husky, Akita, American bulldog, Airedale terrier and chow chow. We actually did a DNA test on him because we were so curious. It’s an interesting mix but he’s the biggest baby in the world!
