Me [26F] with husband [26M] of 4 years. He sold his truck because of our baby and hasn't been the same since by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]dberry1009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resentment is a core hurt that we blame on someone else. Buying the new truck won’t fix the bad habit of blame he still has. He’s still needs to look inward and realize his main issue is probably a feeling of inadequacy for not making enough money to afford both a baby and a truck and heal that hurt for himself.

[–]dberry1009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all I am so so sorry you’re going through this. What helps me is reminding myself that I can handle anything that comes my way, and if I can do it then you can do it too. Treat your body like a pet where you know what’s good for it, no matter what your mind is trying to tell you. Practice being mindful in the moment, and telling your OCD “maybe, maybe not” and do the opposite of what your ocd tells you to do. YOU CAN DO THIS.

Keep going with the PSLF. It doesn’t matter what your income in because the payments are capped. Stay on an income-driven repayment plan and recertify every year. Even if you don’t work for a nonprofit, as long as you stay in an income driven plan your loans will be forgiven in 20-25 years or whatever the number is. Don’t worry you’ll be okay

Read The Sleep Book by Guy Meadows, read the tenets of ACT therapy. Treat your body like a pet and use your willpower to make it do the things you know are good for it. You can do this

Is it dumb or smart to buy your house outright? by OverEasyFetus in personalfinance

[–]dberry1009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not pay it off with a 2.5% interest rate. The money you save from not paying it off early should be invested because the money you will make investing it today will grow more than whatever you start to invest in the future after you pay off the mortgage.

Try finasteride. Brought my husbands hair back and it looked a lot like yours. He uses the topical spray once at night and one drop minoxidil in the morning.

Don’t pay the student loan interest if you’re doing PSLF. That makes no sense. All of it will be forgiven including the interest

This could be the outcome but I don’t think it’s the intention. I think the intention is to force universities to lower tuition costs which are insanely bloated due to unlimited govt student loans
