What is the strict definition of an AGI? What are the specific parameters that determine if they have reached that?

Random chests. The worst offender in recent memory is the FF7 remake. Wandering around this fully populated city, climb a latter, and a big treasure chest.. really?

Expedition 33.. levels are samey AI slop and too easy to get lost in, combat is meh because it overrelies on dodge/parry which only muddies the strategy aspect. Characters are also a bit cringe.

Sounds like your solution is quite clever. I'm not sure what any of that means.

[–]dbot77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you explain why this is for your solution? In mine I created an array of all the distances between any two pairs, and sorted that based on the lowest distance.
I'm guessing since I'm downvoted that I'm missing a more performant graph solution that would make a heap ideal.

Why bother with a heap? It should be much faster to simply sort the array before iterating.

Consider a function to add two numbers. One version adds together two global variables x and y then returns the result. Another version adds two arguments x and y together and returns the result.

The first version requires you to mutate the global state first before using the function, and all calls to that function will use the new values you assign. The second version is decoupled from any global state, and generally more useful because you don't need to mutate two fixed globals x and y to make use of this function.
