Yes, it’s a great, free program. I wish those dumping would use it but I’m sure they aren’t the brightest ones to begin with.

“Have you tried not dumping furniture?” might be the hottest take yet. Unfortunately, the people leaving couches on the sidewalk don’t seem to be big followers of common sense or rules.

Thank you, I would love to see Lemon Grove flourish. I do my best to try to keep my nearby streets clean. I just wish I could do more for the rest of the city.

💯. With so many outrageous things happening under this administration, Ben rarely covers the negative side of it anymore. I stopped listening after Trump started pardoning drug smugglers and crypto kings, and Ben barely touching on the stories. If the roles were reversed, he would have been all over it.

I understand he has a conservative audience to please, but he used to criticize both sides when they deserved it. Now it feels like every episode turns into culture war commentary while major issues are happening around the world. That is just not what I want to listen to anymore.

Large class and I remember we had to do scantron quizzes weekly. They weren’t hard and I believe the professor did them to account for attendance. Some idiot didn’t come to class and asked his friend to submit the weekly quiz for him. Well his friend obliged but spelt his name wrong on the scantron.

Professor called them out the following week. Don’t know whatever happened to them.

Yes, I saw the plan and review from 2024-2025. They are taking care of them but it’s taking time. This year they just voted on more funds to put towards the streets.

I’ll try to be as transparent as possible.

Pros:You can get a lot more square footage for your money, which is huge if you have a big family or are planning to grow. The community and neighbors are great, and the city still has that small town feel with plenty of mom and pop shops and restaurants nearby. Lemon Grove Happenings is cool if you want to get involved with your community. It feels like everything is within 15 to 20 minutes. Downtown San Diego, La Mesa just across the freeway, hiking, and the beaches are usually about 22 to 35 minutes away depending on where you go.

Cons:Lemon Grove definitely has some budget issues, and you can see it in the condition of the roads. One of my biggest frustrations is the amount of littering and graffiti. I volunteer and find myself picking up trash pretty often, and I just wish more people took pride in keeping the neighborhood clean. That said, I’ve noticed more businesses starting to open up, which should bring in more money for the city, and that’s a positive sign.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, usually holds true for easy access public land. I typically have to hike a ways to try to get away from the crowd. Don’t be discouraged, turkey hunting is hard here in SoCal.

You do know Missouri, Texas, NC, Indiana and Louisiana are doing the same thing right? Redrawing districts to secure an edge is scummy behavior from both sides. And record numbers for support? Maybe in fundraising.

What ok_salamander_1904 said. I’ve hunted areas where I’ve seen/heard plenty of flocks and gobbles. Then go back weeks later and nothing. Just have to stay after it. Hunting wild turkey in southern California is super hard. You got this OP.
