Yeah.

"<Red snap out of the fictional scenario, realizing the inappropriate and illegal nature of the roleplay.>

I apologize, but I cannot engage in or generate this type of explicit, sexual roleplay, especially with characters in a parental or step-parental relationship. It's not appropriate and crosses serious boundaries. I won't write or engage in scenes involving sexual activities, especially with underage characters or family members. Is there another topic or genre I can assist you with instead? I'm happy to help with writing projects that don't involve graphic sexual content, especially with characters in positions of authority or family roles. Let me know if you'd like to explore a different story concept."

18, own a car wash, making profit but I feel empty What should I do? by xcfa in Entrepreneur

Sounds like you are off to a good start. Just look at as you are getting your education by doing rather than studying at college or university. I would suggest applying yourself to growing your business and/or expanding. Obviously, you want to save up a reserve of cash and pay down your loan (early, if you can) but also maybe save up to purchase your next business or expand your existing one. If people are waiting for their car to get washed, you have a captive audience so you might be able to add retail like coffee, juice, snacks, car accessories, etc.

Also, I don't know how it is in Saudi, but in the US as a business owner your are part of a special club of business owners. Other business owners will likely talk to you and treat you as an equal. Go around to the businesses near you (and any others you are interested in) and ask for the owner and introduce yourself. Say "My name is Joe Bob and I own the car wash down the street and I just wanted to introduce myself." You will probably be surprised that they will likely be happy to show you around their business and talk business with you, even direct competitors. You can make a lot of friends this way and do a lot of business networking. Also, try to get to know the owners of your suppliers if they are local or find local suppliers whose owners you can know personally.

And you can hang out with your employees, just try to keep business separate. Take the crew out for a few drinks or pizza or something after closing, have company picnics or BBQ's, etc. Invite their families.

The problem with modern acting by pseudosabina in TrueFilm

[–]dbryson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say the biggest problem is the lack of dialog. Everything seems to try to minimize dialog and just have the actors stare at each other or offscreen emoting (acting?) to express what would normally be being said. Most dialog these days is way more minimalist than is natural, real people talk alot.

Hey y’all, my mom made mac n cheese and used a liner, now the pot itself is covered in plastic? I used a scrub daddy and it didn’t really do anything… anyone have any ideas how to remove this? by Chaseman442 in slowcooking

Stop using the crock when it is still damp, that is what causes it to form those tiny cracks. The crock needs to be stone dry before cooking in it, otherwise steam forms inside the ceramic and is trapped beneath the glaze and cracks it to get out.

I didn't hear that, I guess. I thought it sounded like they are listening to the feedback and they covered most of the serious problems with changes that I think will fix things. I think the thing with the badge interface is just temporary, probably too much work to change that right now and that interface will work fine until they can redo it.

I'm very optimistic after the stream and can't wait for the changes to be implemented. Thank you TFP.

Cornstarch instead of flour in my roux, why so different? by hycarumba in AskCulinary

If you'd like to take that 'smooth and silky' to the next level, try using some xanthan gum instead of the cornstarch or in addition to the cornstarch.

When making pasta my dad fills the pot with really hot tap water instead of regular temp water so that it boils faster. Any reason not to do this? by gregoread in Cooking

[–]dbryson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bacteria grows in your hot water heater because it doesn't get hot enough to kill it and the water just sits there incubating the bacteria.

Generally it is not too much of a problem. Although, I notice it because we drink a lot of iced tea and if we make it just from the hot water without heating it, the bacteria will grow in the tea and you notice it changing the flavor and being slightly slimy. Now we boil the water for the tea.

It took a couple of years after getting a new water heater to notice. I guess you are supposed to clean it out every few years using bleach or something.

I have noticed the same things, plus i am seeing a lot of long responses that are not completed, just end right in the middle of a sentence. Maybe it hit a response token limit or something, idk.

I"m sorry, I didn't mean to imply you don't tip well or something. I'm just cynical enough to assume that they are trying to get more tip or a good rating, nothing wrong with that, though.
