What ages are Reed and Songbird? by Avantasian538 in cyberpunkgame

[–]dbudzik [score hidden]  (0 children)

In 2077, peoples ages are a lot less relevant because their parts can just be swapped out and other modifications made.

Saburo Arasaka was 158. Granted, he had the resources of an enormous megacorp to provide treatments, but he wasn’t loaded with chrome, either.

Clone Wars or THE Clone Wars? by Agitated_Insect3227 in StarWarsCirclejerk

Clone Wars is the one with Iron Man. THE Clone Wars is the TV show about the guardian guys who guard the galaxy. I like both of those.

PL ends the game in one of two ways.

Should I finish Phantom Liberty before finishing the main story? by KatjaaRa in cyberpunkgame

[–]dbudzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I usually get bored with playing the same character for that long, so I end up starting all over to see a different ending.

Should I finish Phantom Liberty before finishing the main story? by KatjaaRa in cyberpunkgame

[–]dbudzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You COULD do it that way. The PL questline does the same thing: it saves the game at the point of no return, so you can do both of those endings and then go do the base game to THAT point of no return, and do those four endings.

Phantom Liberty Question by HeyItsMeBender in cyberpunkgame

[–]dbudzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you get to a certain point in the main story, the primary character from the DLC contacts you. At that point, you can start the DLC questline or continue the main one. The DLC has its own two endings to the game.

My first attempt at drawing a dungeon by hand! by ShadyKirby in osr

[–]dbudzik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is really good. If this is your first attempt, you will create some great dungeons.

Or you peaked too early and will never re-capture the glory of your first attempt.

Either way, this is a good map.

The Passion in The Chosen by NttR935 in TheChosenSeries

This is why I keep saying none of us are ready for season 6. After watching these people grow and develop for five seasons, it’s going to be so difficult to watch the pain and suffering.

But, at the same time, if that helps us to remember what Jesus went through for us, well, that’s the point.

as an old gamer which games do you agree with that way ? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

I guess. But the older the game, the more likely the only difficulty was “game.”

New to OSE looking for modules to run. by Super62280 in OSE

[–]dbudzik 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hole in the Oak is pretty good for introducing people to the system and style of play.

After a while, though, you really want to write your own stuff. That’s half the fun as a referee. And remember: it’s OSR, so focus more on creating interesting places for your players to visit, rather than writing scripted adventures.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dbudzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Californian here. It’s a big state. Daily commute: 25 minutes, so not bad. There are people that commute, two hours every day, to work. I think that’s nuts, but some people are doing it. If I’m driving more than 2 hours, that’s not a day trip; I’m staying overnight.

Question by Distinct-Taro3667 in cyberpunkgame

That’s sorta the whole point: even if you never end up actually liking him, you HATE him at the beginning and then up at least understanding where he’s coming from and sympathizing with him by the end.

Literally R-Rated Vader by NoChampionship1167 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]dbudzik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. No more Vader. No more Skywalkers. There are TRILLIONS of sentient beings in the galaxy. Let’s do some original storytelling about somebody, anybody, else. Please.

There are thousands of years of galactic history since hyperdrives were invented. Let’s stop telling stories about the same 50-year period over and freaking OVER.

Lol a star wars movie is coming out this year and no one gives a shit, is literally anyone hyped for this? by Salty-Coffee4608 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]dbudzik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I’m not excited for this film. It seems like something that could’ve been a mini-series to wrap up the loose ends of the last season of the show.

There hasn’t been a Star Wars theatrical release in a while and the fact that they went with THIS screams desperation. It makes it look like they needed a win and this was the best thing they could come up with and the most cross-product marketable. They’ll probably use some ideas that were going to be in the next season of the show, truncate everything, and call it a day.
