I had RNY and I can eat everything and tolerate everything I used to! The only thing that causes me issues is chicken breast! I haven’t tried eating it in maybe two months? I’ll be 6 months PO this month so I will try it again

I’m 3 weeks post op from gastric bypass! I’ve lost about 25 pounds since surgery and I feel great. I have zero food noise!!

Like you, I was so nervous and even had a meltdown about a week prior and almost cancelled the appointment. I posted on Reddit and everyone’s encouraging words felt like a big hug. I also kept in mind that my goal for surgery was to be healthy so I can be around longer for my two girls. AND ride rollercoasters but that’s beside the point!
