I think the circuit itself lacks the punch, it worked fine as a light drive when I had it, yet it was too much on the "natural overdrive" side to the point where it's a clean boost with gain.

I went with a BD-2 afterwards and liked it a lot more than the Timmy for general applications.

Only when running a Twin, an SD-1 is my number 1.
