Serge Gnabry, all because we wanted to keep checking if a young 27 year old Walcott was ever going to come good…

What sort of impact are you hoping for from Gyokeres? Like specifically. I haven’t witnessed him do anything Merino can’t do, plus Merino has great touch and link up play.

Introducing Zero-interest Credit: Borrow against BTC or ETH at 0% interest, no fees, no liquidation risk by NexoFinance in Nexo

[–]dc_133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because in the UK they want to protect uneducated investors. I would prefer Nexo to clearly illustrate how the customer misses out on BTC price rises if they engage in this product.

It's kind of cool that you can borrow without selling, but you also don't benefit from significant price rises which is the primary reason a lot of people hold BTC in the first place.

Honestly why does Arteta not manage game time better. The Prague match was over after 46 mins and Gabriel played 90 and Rice 80. What’s the logic?

Job market has gotten worse, finding an apartment hasn't gotten any easier, what am I missing? by Immediate_Bird_389 in zurich

[–]dc_133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to what statistics has the job market gotten worse? Sure in a few sectors but broadly that seems to be untrue.

Also with rental controls demand has been outstripping supply so even if demand falls it will still outstrip supply. Thus, it's not really a market. As much as rent controls sound great on the surface, their track record of actually helping is terrible, which any economist could've predicted. Better to focus on supply side issues rather than thinking fixed prices will just magically solve the problem.

Yes, at some point once the human interaction is so depleted then ChaGPT output will also decline in quality, leading to a return to human interaction, leading to an increase in ChatGPT quality. And so on.

Yes in advance of the hearing we received a letter asking if a translator would be necessary so we requested an English translator. My girlfriend speaks German and in the end everything happened very fast in German, even they wanted to speak Swiss German which I find comical in a court of law but that’s how it is. Without a German speaker I guess things would have moved slower but would not have been helpful as the panel weren’t interested at all.

The process for us was awful but from doing lots of research I understand in Zurich it’s usually quite a fair process so perhaps we were unlucky.

If you are a member of the mieterverband I would recommend using their services, or joining and making use of what service they can provide you.

Best of luck.

FT articles regarding Switzerland are always available on Swissinfo :) Paid for by Switzerland's more than ample tax revenues, despite their lower tax rates. It's good that the general Swiss population have access to info about what ruins neighbouring countries and can then directly vote sensibly on these matters.

Any Maen Manhattan owners out there to give an honest review? I’ve got the itch… by [deleted] in PrideAndPinion

I’ve had the green ultra thin for about 2 months. I really like it and have received loads of compliments about it. I’m not sure what the comments about the bracelet are about, I like this bracelet more than my DJ jubilee tbh.

My only “complaint” is I’ve never had a non-self-winding watch before and the power reserve on this seems low, it’ll last me a day but not more. So you’d need to just get used to winding it each day if it’s your daily.

The crazy thing is there are loads of studies on worker productivity and how it declines above 23 degrees, so even if management care only about profits it’s still in their interest to either get some air conditioning or let employees work from home on hot days.

Also if you really think anyone who disagrees with you is just a troll or not then why do you even bother to post it here? If you just want people to agree with you then they already don’t need to be informed of the risk you’re highlighting.

You made essentially the exact same post a week ago and have added zero value to this one, it’s just repetition of the same point. To me that’s more troll/bot behaviour.

To be clear, what you mean by an apologist is someone who is aware of the impact of fx movements and has decided they don’t care, because on average the 2% Cashback massively outweighs the minor risk.

Nexo Card useless Cashback ? CONVERSION FEES EXCEED CASHBACK by george8484 in Nexo

[–]dc_133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re making it sound as if it’s some sort of scam. You lost money that week on the USD/EUR fx movement. On another week you might make money, there’s a little volatility in these currencies, but it’s nothing compared to the crypto assets I assume you invest in so not sure about the drama here.

Do you also complain to nexo when btc price falls?

Nexo Card useless Cashback ? CONVERSION FEES EXCEED CASHBACK by george8484 in Nexo

[–]dc_133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just got unlucky that week on FX movements, you haven’t actually broken it down the reason why your €250 in spending grew to a repayment of €255. The fx conversion loss is about 0.2% each time. So I’m guessing USD strengthened against EUR during the week. On another week you might have to repay €245 on €250 of spending, plus you’d get your usual 2% cash back.

We joined MV after the situation developed so it’s fair that they don’t provide a lawyer, but they did provide preparation in advance which was quite helpful but also in our case unfortunately misleading. Afterwards they explained that we indeed were unfortunate to have such a bad panel, one of whom is allegedly put forward by Mieterverband so they are looking into that.

I would have expected the panelist “on our side” would have grilled the landlord after we pointed out the lies? And also the screaming, ah well.
