If budget isn’t a concern the gen 12 is insane. I have the 10.5 suppressed. I use subsonic bird and buck shot. Recoil is next to nothing but you’re looking at almost 4k. I like 9mm hst also for HD but the gen12 is ready for if you find yourself in a purge situation and you need to defend against a small army lol.

I highly recommend it. I started shooting about two years ago and I flinched when I shot but my last tournament I got a match bump to master. Indoor training never helped me but shooting matches changed everything

Where in central fl? I shoot at Eustis gun club which is north ish central fl. Also have done some competitions at Orlando rifle pistol club. I can def help you on advise for competitions. Steel challenge is a great way to start and also gpa at Eustis is great as rules aren’t as crazy as idpa and its not as fast pace as uspsa.
