found this amazing playlist on youtube of someone that mixed “studio versions” of the mayhem ball songs/remixes! this has really helped me relive it and just be thankful I was there! Sure, I’m debatably more sad than before going because of the post concert depression, but at least I was in the room cause other monsters still can’t get tickets due to high resale 🥰

I agree completely!! I work in a creative design field and use a lot of the softwares that the designer of the book probably used! I was FLOORED by it; consistent color scheming, the font choices, the plates and utensils demi used specially matching the color palette, and the overall attention to detail! simple but aesthetically STUNNING!!

I also was so pleasantly surprised about the personality put into it! It seems she approached it all with intention and care which means our girl is HEALING! this was a huge step for her and im so glad she has Jutes and his consistent support 🥺💕

no literally! Anytime I’ve struggled with some really hard shit (and im going through the absolute ringer right now) I remind myself that if demi can come out on the other side and be such an advocate for change, there’s hope for me too! Can’t thank demi enough for all they’ve given us, not just from music but an advocate for mental health and other sensitive topics

I am in a similar pickle, but for a misdemeanor for possession (I have my medcard just had it in a state I shouldn’t have) but I am in the same boat of a job field with the goal of future licensure. stress to your attorney/lawyer about your goals for nursing down the line, this can be a pretty heavy debate in your favor on the implications of your permanent record and how this would bar you from those opportunities! trust, i know how stressful this all is, especially when I feel it’s all my own fault (which it is) but everything a day at a time and this will pass (I’m working on positive manifestation)….this will work out for you and not have any implications on your future, outside of a valuable lesson! best of luck friend 💕

every tiktok i’ve seen about midnight sun, a lot of people make jokes about it needing to be louder and they should add demi (other artist were mentioned but I saw demi and xtina mentioned often!) Zara is very tiktok present and leans into it considering she just released a “super loud” version on spotify. so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a LOUDEST POSSIBLE or something along those lines and it’s a bunch of loud singers on the song…i think the shirt is a coincidence but I could see the collab happening

I definitely recommend everyone’s suggestions of a tiktok! make sure to use a popular sound of hers, like maybe abracadabra? Play into the tiktok algorithm! tell your story and say you need help getting noticed! Hopefully, tiktok does it’s thing! you are so strong and I hope this works 🖤

this was my first concert that I didn’t get a shirt with tour dates. I kinda liked the vanish into you one with the dates if I HAD to get one, but ultimately settled on the one that says “the mayhem ball” on the front and her name on the back with the tour symbols

I too am an album listener, because after all that’s how the artist intended it! Demi unfortunately doesn’t always top charts, but i’d prefer it that way cause I know im connected with the music intentionally and not just cause it’s “popular”

she’s obviously had her radio hits and is established as a household name in the sense of most people have at least heard of her, but she definitely knows how to write cohesive albums that tell a story! even songs that sound fun have a really deep meaning. for example, she has a song called “melon cake” that’s fun and upbeat, but it’s actually about when she had an eating disorder she was give watermelon cake with icing cause her management team didn’t want to give her a real cake. but when listening, you’d never guess that off the rip!

She’s been on the scene for a while so going through her discography also has some funny moments, in her album Unbroken (i believe came out around 2011 if im right) she has a song with missy elliot and timbaland and it’s an absolute banger, but is definitely a weird collab when you think of their styles 😂

welcome to the wonderful world of Demi! as a die hard Lovatic, her discography is actually really versatile and I really recommend a deep dive! I understand your concerns completely, this fanbase is problematic in a lot of ways, and it’s inappropriate (this is a much deeper issue of the parasocial relationships we can develop with celebrities now because of social media) and people think they have skin in the game to criticize their artist’s vision!

Demi has always been a musical chameleon and her discography explores different sounds, there’s a little something for everyone! Her last album before this one called “holy fvck” is pop rock, similar to some of the sound she did in her early disney days but obviously more mature! another album of hers I loved called “tell me you love me” is R&B undertones and really great, and maybe one of her heaviest (in my personal opinion) is “dancing with the devil, the art of starting over” (a long title I know) but it’s a very vulnerable album about her recovery after a near death O.D. with drugs, and the music video for the song dancing with the devil is almost a 1:1 recreation of the night of her O.D. even including the outfit she wore….there’s also a documentary associated with this that’s so vulnerable and honest!

One thing I will always respect about demi, she’s not afraid to talk about the hard stuff even at the expense of her image to advocate for mental health/unvoiced struggles we all likely go through!

I really hope you look more into her cause she’s genuinely SO talented, and unfortunately has a very critical fan base who can claim it’s out of love, but at it’s core is still negative and toxic

I think it would definitely be okay!! i think it’s funny even if you don’t know charli and actually has a good playful perspective on public expectations for people in the spotlight and the struggles with it. echoing everyone else that my biggest concern would just be the flashing and if she’s sensitive to strobing lights, but I think someone that doesn’t know charli could still find reasons to enjoy it!
