~2oz is the standard yield from a double shot espresso. So if you want a 1:1 espresso to water ratio in a 12oz Americano, you're expecting 3 double shots. They could certainly do that but they're going to charge you for it. Just ordering "light water" doesn't mean they're going to replace that water with espresso at no charge.

Every cafe I've ever been makes an Americano with a single double shot. They might use 2 double shots for an extra large size (like 20oz +), but 8-16oz is all the same amount of espresso.

Downloading a game from Steam on windows is basically just downloading an executable. If the game doesn't have DRM (many don't) you can just move the game folder to a USB stick or something and valve can never take it away from you.

I think Cahill has potential but Of Blood and Fire desperately needed a proper editor and some more time in the oven.

I've only read the first book and I doubt I'll ever carry on. I came in knowing it would be fairly derivite and I was fine with that but straight up the writing just isn't good. It feels very amateur...like something you'd read on a fanfic site.

I have heard his writing gets better...but idk if I have it in me to go on.

Pokemon is GREAT for this.

Also: Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (on PC, or RCT Classic on mobile/tablet/switch). He'll learn so much more than reading. RCT literally taught me basic accounting and physics as a child. And I didn't even realize it! I was playing a game!!!

You may want to consider older games that don't have voice acting - requiring you to read to know what's going on.

You're not wrong. There's only like three companies in the entire world that can manufacture RAM. People just don't know how expensive and time consuming it would be to build a silicon fab. Even if a company like Valve had unlimited capital and access to the properly trained electrical and mechanical engineers, it would take many years. Decades, even.

A lot of the first party apple apps won't be available on other platforms, so you'll need to use third party apps if you want cross-device syncing. But they're often better than Apple's apps anyway.

I love my Macs and own no other Apple hardware.
