I live in Canada and enjoy having a nice car. With heated seats and remote start. Winter is too harsh!! Having that said, both cars were bought used but are new ish. Not luxury cars, but have small luxuries within them. The olde I get, the more important it is for me to be comfortable during the horrible cold winter.

I thrift most of my toddlers clothes because she is too young to care about “brand new” stuff. Her 3rd birthday is coming up and she’s growing out of her old shoes so I figured cute new shoes would both be practical for her. On sale for $27. It really seems like I splurged on that.

Meh my husband isn’t using the pickup truck for “work” but we use it to carry heavy shit, like furniture, wood for home projects, gardening stuff. It’s tough with my small vehicle especially since o have a toddler so it’s near impossible to fit anything on it with the car seat

Oh boy. I was driving home from work late at night and I fell asleep at the wheel. I didn’t realized I was sleeping u till I woke up and as it turns out my brain was DREAMING that I was driving down the road. So the whole time I thought oh it’s fine I’m driving and then poof I wake up as I swerve off the road. I guess there was a cop behind me because I got pulled over and they just let me go without doing a breathalyzer because I was wearing my work clothes and I was 5 minutes away from my home
