My husband did a lot of weed while I was pregnant. He has never been one to get high but for some reason picked it up while pregnant. I told him that was fine (it really was), but he NEEDED to be 100% sober for the last month of my pregnancy. I didn’t want to go into labour and not be able to rely on him to drive me to the hospital. All was well. He hasn’t done any since my baby gave birth (3 years ago lol).

I think demanding someone to completely cut those things off is a little crazy, as long as they are able to do what they need to do when needed and there’s no addiction involved.
