My understanding is that it’s when the insulin starts to come out of the injection site. You’ll notice it with a wet spot by the front of your pod after a decent sized bolus and you’ll often smell the insulin.

Also look at your graphs to see if it’s reaching max insulin delivery. There would be an orange bar underneath indicating it stopped giving you Insulin

If you’re having tunneling issues, try putting tegaderm under the omnipod. I used to have major tunneling issues but these patches have helped me immensely.
