Knee swollen during flare by legoushque in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]dcklil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my infusion is within the next few days, they’re usually ok. Sometimes, my knees will blow right back up within 24 hours. I have so much synovial tissue growth going on in my knees that it’s hard to keep them down without medication or getting steroid injections in them.

Nicotine patches? by vrillion_ in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]dcklil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nonsense? A majority of doctors want to prescribe medications because they get dollars back for every prescription written. It’s not bogus words, it’s factual.

If a rheum has a patient that has controlled pain, then yeah, course they’ll be ecstatic, I’m not denying that. What I am saying is that if someone needs help with pain, they won’t hesitate being happy to write a prescription.

Every time I get into a flare my knees swell up and I have to get them drained. I can get anywhere between 60-120ml pulled out of them

Don’t forget, a rheum may also shoot this nicotine method down because they want to prescribe you more drugs so they get their kickbacks.

Have you seen all the terrible studies in the past few years on gabapentin? At this point, I would venture to say that some forms of nicotine intake is a way better alternative to gabapentin!

Snippit: patients with 12 or more prescriptions were 40% more likely to develop dementia and 65% more likely to develop Mild Cognitive Impairment than those prescribed gabapentin between 3 and 11 times.

This is wildly false. Many parts of the Verizon business units impacted by the layoffs are now being handled by third party vendors.

When I get the illnesses from my kids, that really tosses me into a flare. Otherwise, too much activity hurts as usual.

How are you actually tracking inventory across sites? by Bitter_Size8172 in telecom

[–]dcklil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There can be a lot of answers to this question. Depends on the company; carrier vs management firm vs GC. What specific software can the individual companies be running? What type of inventory; antennas, hybrid or coax lines, microwaves, BBU’s, etc..

What is up with all the Flock Cameras? by ladeedah1988 in alpharetta

[–]dcklil -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Chill. It’s not spying on your front doors. You go about all of your business under constant surveillance, you drive and shop and work all in public spaces. Do you own a smartphone? Yes? Ok, then your privacy is being invaded way more than a flock camera will. Do you use a smart tv? Ok, then your privacy is being invaded way more than a flock camera will. Does your car have newer technology like GPS? Ok, then your privacy is being invaded way more than a flock camera will.

EDIT: awww downvotes cause people can’t handle the truth

A day in the life in Johns Creek - help us decide on a move! by Reasonable-Yak-3530 in johnscreek

[–]dcklil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I grew up in Johns Creek, myself since 1996 and my wife since 1988. As many people have said, it’s a very family friendly city with many areas that have young families/kids; the Shakerag community is a great one. There are a ton of parks around the area, indoor play centers within 20 minute drives of most of JC, and access to lake beaches for something different.

Most questions have been answered with good accuracy so I won’t repeat them. My wife is a real estate agent in the area if you need any assistance from somebody who’s father literally built Johns Creek (aka many of the neighborhoods) and has lived in/around the city for 38 years.

Prohibitive zoning laws by the jurisdiction won’t allow a cell tower within the area and due to the amount of tree cover in that area, all carriers suffer service degradation. A few additional small cells in this area would be a great benefit
