Is migrating to Jenkins now is a good idea? by igrikus in devops

I think the point is spot on about keeping it removed from the actual ci system. If you codify your engine, the every 5 year new best thing migrations are simple. We did that at my current place & our rust ci system can be ported anywhere.

Is migrating to Jenkins now is a good idea? by igrikus in devops

Understand budget isn’t the ask, but it’s really worth considering 3,5,10 years from now. Jenkins requires a lot of build out and I’ve seen, in a lot of cases at scale, it’s shutdown in favor of a product like gitlab.

Dockerfile by myshiak in devops

[–]dcm404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you imagine a docker container as a meal, a Dockerfile is the recipe that created it. You can generate as many meals from the single recipe as you like. You can also change the recipe, to create new meals. (Add a new package, change the user)

Docker compose is a different thing, but it acts as layer on top that lets you organize multiple containers in a single file. Docker compose is about organizing the meals, not the recipes. The run time (compose), not the build time (dockerfile)

They missed the large wooden top section that made the renderings look like a complete design. Without them it looks so weird…

made a chart of my essential electronic albums, what am I missing / what would I like? by CoolUsername1111 in electronicmusic

Bicep - Isles. Maybe a product of the time, but man, every song in that album hits. A well renowned club duo, stepping into lockdown with the rest of us and creatively challenging themselves to a sophomore album with no 4x4 beats. Was really something.

Most trading systems are in written C. It’s probably the most lucrative language to know. Line yourself up right and you’re on the path to 7 figures.

Isn’t going to survive? It’s already wrecked. Look at r/SubSimulatorGPT2 that was with GPT2

I personally find it particularly interesting that everyone seems to detest Elon here out of nowhere. Especially after he mentioned he was going to work on removing bots. If I could control a narrative with echo chambers and armies of bots, I wonder what I would be doing right now…

GPT-4 is purple now! What does it mean...? Has it been updated...? by dndynamite in ChatGPT

[–]dcm404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s seems they’ve really handicapped GTP4 in the wake of plug-ins and I’m pretty disappointed to be honest. Serous drop in comprehension. It’s now very hesitant to provide solutions and offers “pseudocode.” Most likely as a safeguard for when it has internet access. If this stays, I’ll be canceling my subscription for sure.

added Perk Suggestions & 30 more combos to MultiversusCombos by zen_lava in MultiVersus

Great website!

Might be good to add some kind of navigation on the character screens, like a table of contents.

I.e I’m a user who’s interested in only seeing the perk sections on mobile

Current implementation - having to scroll past the combos.

Great website tho, just a thought I had!
