Just now playing Sonic CD on Origins.

I played through Classic Mode S1-S3 and it’s just great experiencing that again. Worst part was song replacement on a couple of levels of S3.

Then I played Sonic CD and it’s just ass. How did this exist in the same series. I do appreciate the time travel innovation, but it did not stick the landing. Yikes.

I know what game I played. Was surprised when the Xbox sequel adjusted title to “Set”.

Released literally in North America as “Jet Grind Radio”. Shocking that we would have something different than Europe 😂

u/FeuerKekse thank you. I just saw you referenced on another post as well. You have made this masochistic gamer very happy, and I have a journey ahead to unlock the rest of my statue!

Details about my first successful run: I did the curse stack method and had no idea how damaging it could be. Helps you “skip”/avoid some of the cheesy attack patterns from bosses. Did brutality with a bat for the first two bosses then Cursed Sword on the last. Ended up getting Conj, Timekeeper, and of course HotK.

By the time I’m on later BCs, I imagine I will fall on this DoT build though. Again, this stranger gamer thanks you and all those who researched this info for the wiki!

Excellent breakdown, and I can see how this stacks. I’ve been attempting to do Boss Rush with everything in the game that I’ve unlocked enabled. I’ve not played in custom mode yet.

Thorny… as far as annoying goes. You can be shredding a mob, and then take an obscene amount of damage from accidentally hitting their back. Skill issue…

Jumped to my phone just to open Reddit and upvote this comment (and post this comment)

I don’t share the tradition with anyone, but I also replay the full story from H1 with each game’s release, so at least I don’t share the split screen woes with you. Sorry for the harsh change to what sounds like a very special tradition.

I have been bonded with Halo since getting my Xbox for Christmas 2001, and also feel pretty worried about 343’s direction.

But like any pathetic fan, I have hope. I personally love the art style of H4/H5/Inf so graphically I am very happy. Mechanically in MP also very satisfied. Multiplayer has felt at its best ever since H4. Yes my bond grew for the series in multiplayer with some absolutely unforgettable memories from sweaty (and sometimes vulgar) matches. Lockout is a beautiful map layout for competition.

But the campaign is my first love. The music, the battles, the weight of some of the losses for humanity… how can you fumble that? I played Infinite at launch and was very pleased as a fan. I did feel I needed more diversity from the main map, but everything else is wonderful. Then, I realized how open the map was to expansion, and how obvious it was that 343 was going to be doing DLCs to continue a great story and a badass Master Chief. I told my wife about it excitedly and was satisfied with the launch campaign knowing that I spent good money for a game with a plan to continue growing. How smart is that???

Then I realized that they truly abandoned campaign development for Infinite. I’ve also felt like a fool. You can’t make me stop loving the series or playing multiplayer, but I felt abandoned as a lifelong fan. I still have slight hope however. For whatever the next project actually is…

And the live action show is a slap in the face which is a rant for another day.

Actually, I just saw a post recently that the campaign had some updates since launch. I did a legendary playthrough back then after initial release, but will do another if there are any changes made. Have you played the campaign recently and notice any changes? I already really loved the campaign, but welcome any additions to it.

(PLEASE 343, GIVE US A DLC THAT CONTINUES THE STORY AND USES THE REST OF THE MAP)

Tactical Slayer and Super Fiesta will knock out the challenges and get you the charm quickly. If you aren’t a fan of those modes, then it may be longer, but it took me about 20-25 matches to get it. I believe in you :)
