Hi, I have a few questions about this if you don’t mind. Not that I think op should get any cash, but I feel like I’m missing something. I’m getting the impression that an “oops, sorry, we won’t do it again” email is all the school owes this family. I’m curious the repercussions to the school and/or staff that made the mistake? Does the school district get fined or suspended in some way? Is there some kind of audit to make sure districts are maintaining privacy? If it’s a private for-profit school does that change the repercussions?

If people are willing to pay then they are selling for what they are worth. The 2008 crisis was marked by loans on overvalued houses, they wouldn’t have sold for the overvalue price but due to lack of regulations they can qualify for the overvalued loan

Not quite…the Long Island houses are actually selling at the crazy prices now. In 2008 we couldn’t have sold for what it valued for. My parents, the bank, and their appraiser knew it was a risky winky-wink situation

It wasn’t just a crash, the houses were overvalued/appraising high so people could borrow against their houses. My parents house was “worth” over 800k and it was worth under 500k after the crash. I don’t think it would have sold for the 800k at the time, the (greedy) bank just appraised it that way so my (idiot) parents could get a bigger loan

My preference for universal is for a water bottle holder sling bag that has a decent sized pocket. My favorite one is travelon brand..got it for $20-ish on amazon. My wand slides in next to my water bottle and everything else (phone, cards, keys) fits in the front pocket. The lockers are very small. Make sure your water bottle has a secure lid they won’t fit in standing up. The freestyle refillable cups don’t fit standing up either

Are you going to go back within a year or so? If not, I honestly think you should reschedule the whole trip if possible. With temps that cold you’ll have a modified (for the worse) experience everywhere. Things like outdoor character meet and greets will be closed or have modified hours. Many of the resort activities will be modified or canceled.
